- Today we headed down the north coast road to go to 100 steps beach. It was a first time for Lovie, Jodie and I. The beach was surprisingly very beautiful and we got the beach all to our self. As always guys, Stay Safe and Stay Adventurous!

I was shocked as to how beautiful it was. I imagined it being rough and sandy but it was simply beautiful and on a rainy day. So imagine how a sunny day would be!!😍

I visited that beach for the first time in 2019 and it was stunning. There are quite a few shallow caves and I believe you can access the beach from further down however you should do so while the tide is low. It’s a once in a lifetime experience. ❤️ it

Been there a few times! Last year I almost lost my Grand Vitara there though! Almost went over the side!Great beach to visit! Dangerous at high tide to walk through the caves though!
Wayyy easy there padna lol u nearly reach the beach faster than u imagined. Yeah I wouldnt rush going through there at high tide. We didnt bother this time. But it was beautiful
@@adventureswithloviematt that was so long ago and I still didn’t edit the footage from that trip! I ended up flagging an off-road team which turned out to be tarique eastman and his team! They were able to anchor the Vitara until the wrecking service came! It took a wrecker and two off-roaders to get us out safely!

I have never been there but looks nice to fish. Have u all ever been to la forêt beach. I think that u all would like there Especially u Matthew cause of nice place to fish some tarpons, jack crevalle and baracuda and many other fish.

Haha thankyou Trisha ☺ it was actually short because the hike to the beach was short and the weather ofc . Our vlog duration will always reflect the adventure. If the adventure is simple the vlog would be short and if the adventure is long the vlog will be long haha. Don't worry I'm sure a long vlog will pop up just for u hun.

We did!. It was an easy climb to be very honest. Just dont slip. If you slip and lose your grip then it can be very bad.

Be careful when going to this beach! You are a long way away from your car. Two years ago I was with a group of about 12 people on this beach, when a boat went by, the driver of the boat immediately got on his cell phone. When we left a couple of hours later, some of our cars were broken into. The climb up and down is a bit hazardous so I don’t recommend this for old folks or people with young children. The beach was very nice and secluded.

The only thing I disliked was the music. I would have loved to hear the sweet sound of steel pan and some calypso.
I am jamaican, and when I watch jamaican vlogs, I just want to hear nice reggae music.

Thankyou so much! We do enjoy showcasing our beautiful country. The style of music we play flows well with our style of editing. We wanted to be different and not play the same soca and rhythms that other Trinidad youtubers play in their vlogs. We are quite unique from other youtubers here in trinidad. That being said , we choose music based on the mood we want to portray. Soca and calypso are not off the menu. When the correct mood arises the music will follow. Also as a creator is easier to use music that are copywrite free rather than trying to reach out to a soca/calypso artist that can take a while ( based on experience)

Matt...Balata comes from wherever someone planted a tree LOL. North, South, East or West.
It's not common to the west side tbh lol I've never seen a tree in the west or someone selling in the west as often as when u head down toco.

Hey hey, first time is always a scouting time. I can assure you I will go back to fish because what I didnt mention in the video was that when we were in the water lovie felt some things touching her foot and also I saw some BiG fishes working on the water past the waves. Probably feeding on some mullet. I'm guessing barracuda or Jack's. Another video I'll try my luck with arteficial and cut bait.

Been to this beach a few times. It might be the nicest beach in Trinidad. Never had a security issue but have always been warned that it is not safe. We usually parked closer to the sign by the Main Rd and walked all the way down.
