You can also ride a andrewsarchus! You don't even need a gasmask as you're immune to pretty much everything in the saddle so it's even easier to do day 1

well while you're there you can go to the secret underground ocean right next to the swamp Island, it will have B. Pearls, high lvl end game ocean dinos (tuesos and Mosas) element ore, and deep sea ocean crates, just make sure you roll in with scuba, extra scuba, and atleast a Plesi or a high lvl Megladon with a cryopod Carbonymes if you are gonna tame up a tueso

Great video 👍 Some of the trees on the south west islands beaches give sap on the main map. That's where I got my first batch anyway. Gachas in Asgard aswell as alternatives to travelling for specialized resources. Teleport south east Asgard and there's usually a few gachas between spawn and the lone purple tree further north 👍

Thanks for making this but setup can be wayyy easier! You can just tele to the jungle right off the bat from spawning and tame a gacha or two that can provide black pearls, oil and sap (along with many other materials) and then tele to the redwoods and get megatherium there without needing any high level gear or engrams. Also if you make a base in the redwoods by then you’re close to Bayla

Just remember. If youre on official. You probably arent getting into the magmasaur cave cuz good game is good. Alternatively, you can kill the... Eukriv..? The big lobster that hide out in the shallow oceans. Dont get hit though. You'll pass out.
A boosted Megatherium would easily kill the most alphas, just eat a bug before going into the fight. A tamed argent can take on alpha carno and rexes as well (even if it is specced for weight). If you tame a basilo there are one million alpha megalodons at Fjordur.
A bat with 3k health and 300 melee can kill alpha rexes easy. If the bat health gets low, you just back off and it eats a stack of meat and like 40 blood and it goes back to full health. It's cracked.
To make it clear, megatheriums arent the only ones who can kill beyla. Rexs bred to kill broodmother, can kill beyla easily. Megatheriums get a significant buff, but taming multiple stated dinos can be very difficult. And megatheriums aren't good for all bosses, Rexs, can be. There are always alternatives. I heard Deino can do a good job too.
Thank you for this been raising mutating Rex's and gigas are not spawning in any good lvls. Atm got about 25+ LVL 500 Rex's and 15 wyverns at 515. Need to find bosses that'll let me earn Tek gear unlocks.
Honey rocks will often give 2-3 Honey on official . Obviously he on a boosted server n up to 6 may spawn but often its 3 and they respawn every ark day
Honey rocks are all over the place in that area and you are better off farming them with a hatchet rather than a pickaxe. I find it to be the easiest way to get honey especially on servers with increased rates.
Nice guide though really learn the hotkeys for the commands instead of the menu. Makes it so much easier when you can just spam whatever key you have set to 'ATTACK THIS TARGET' while aiming at it so if it moves you don't miss a shot at targeting it due to slow menuing. A.k.a use Attack This Target that's the Period -> . key. Same with all passive ; all follow J, or even 'Move here' thats , makes life a lot easier than wasting time using the menu.
Did it with a level 286 andrewsarchus he almost fell asleep and I broke the rock I hid behind to avoid the narcotic shots beyla shoots. Was fun though tbh and even got a mastercraft andrew saddle
Jotunheim, Uhm Get an Otter................... Level the otter while farming Black pearls and put it into Melee%, 40 worth of Fortitude, and Apprentice or higher tier Fur gear. it will mitigate the cold during the day times. I recommend building a Stone structure hut with everything you would need Windmill generator and Air units, the actual Fight is pretty easy with Gigas and once you remove the cold element of dying it makes the fight easy as hell and you don't need to spam med brews. They did nerf it a little. Also if you are doing all this solo don't be a moron and waste your time the game is based on group play, you need to increase sliders in the menu to accommodate for the fact you are not in a group.

So I have a question about fighting bosses. Is fighting them really only possible if you have max leve dinos enabled? What happens if you don’t. Do the bosses spawn at lower levels too?
Nah the bosses have set stats for their gamma, beta, and alpha levels. The mini bosses on this map only have one level with set stats no matter what the dino level is set to. I do recommend playing with max dino level enabled as your tamed dinos are far far more effective than lower levels and it's ironically easier to survive
That I'm has alot a megatheriums but the redwoods also has alot and its top right. Red woods top is also a snow area. But megatheriums r often on the beach areas

@@ratdog3735 Just did on my Xbox private server running from a pc(windows version) can confirm element does NOT drop on Xbox at least. I have my server coded to unlock all those engrams we are missing so i can’t speak on if that’s fixed or not. With all the bugs in this map very likely not. Map is awesome but lots of bugs, should have been delayed till July to fix all the issues. Like some water not actually being water, ie can’t drink from it and can lay down and doesn’t effect oxygen, the desmodus is WICKED but broken AF (can’t attack if map, torch, gps, etc. are equipped).

This has happened to me. I'm not sure why, but maybe it happens when a tame you aren't riding gets the last hit? Maybe it only awards the relic to you when your survivor, or the mount you are riding, kills the boss?
3:10 totally ignore this bee cave idea. You will need to drag the dire bears out. They are 360 level and have 6 dmg buff from cave. They can melt a giga in 45 secs. So its honestly a dumb recommendation. He isnt smart. Like i said honey rocks or regular hives if not. That cave we use for organic poly. One person on dodic n one carrying on argy. And thats after i draged bears and there are other nastys. Unless you kill everything i don't recommend farming it for honey

Your sap suggestion isnt great. Make scuba tank n flippers n jump off raft and down into lunar biome. U can hand pick it or toss out a herby. Even a anky gets bucket loads. The lil plant had a bulb shape top. Your see lil clusters of it in there

you should try going in with desmodus, hanging of ceiling and gunning down magmas. they cant even hit you. just take down the small bats first.

Cool, I have a couple decent mega’s. Got 37 points into health and 38 into melee on a male. Just don’t have a good Dino to take on the alphas yet.

i tried to solo the boss with just a lightning wyv 30k hp 2500~ melee difficulty 10, it did not go well...

The bosses come in 3 different levels. Gamma, beta and alpha. Gamma is not to bad.

Epic for render distance, and medium/high for most other settings. To raise fps, I have reduced ground clutter and sky quality

Ovis can be hard to find. Honey rocks r easy to find. The down path to the lake from the green ob giga spawn has a few first shelf down on the left.
There are quite a few ovis in Asgard.

Safer method for black pearls is to go to asgard sw and tame some low lvl gacha with rock not that hard to get a black pearl one.

the way I do it is I use an andrewsarchus fully imprinted and I'm able to take her easily

That could work as long as your saddle is decent. I see most people using 2 gigas though.

the 360 bears are easy on a good sloth. There are bugs. I have had no issues.
