I'm going into high school and im gonna try out for color guard. My current band teacher and my science teacher who was in color guard both think I'll get in. Your videos have helped me a lot and I wanted to say thanks. If I get in I'll be the first ever guy to join the color guard at the high school I'm going to
Hey🙋🏻♀️I 🥰your flag!! Such an awesome trick! I did colorguard back in highschool. I graduated in 07! So I have started getting my old flag back out & I'm doing videos on tik tok to different peoples songs & making up routines to them. This was exactly what I was looking for 🥰
i love this skill! I did colorguard for 7 years and never once could master the flag body wrap! i tried it this time with this tutorial, and was successful!
If you'd like me to make a video on it (because I have a ton of tips) I totally can but my biggest tips are to be open and willing to do anything and if you can choose where to sit or stand during the learning process, be in the front. Being in the front will prove to the directors that you are willing to do whatever it takes to learn and that you want to be there.
Also good luck!! I loved auditions when I first had them and I loved teaching and helping students audition when I got into highschool. I hope you enjoy guard just as much as I do!
In about an hour I can post some links. I know my music one I got off of amazon and the green and yellow one that is in my other videos is a flag I used from school but I can send you links to them
Apologize for the late update. There are an extreme amount of places you can get them from but here are my top three Amazon Www.bandshoppe.com Www.drillcomp.com These are some very good places to get great flags and they have a bunch of different options to choose from
So when the flag falls onto your left shoulder, you lean back so that the flag falls diagonally between your chest not horizontally along your neck. If you dont lean back It crosses in front of your neck as well
ayee, i think im going to incorporate this into my captain audition. Looks cool!
That's awesome!
Literally what I came for😭

Where do you get your flags from? I just joined and I’m trying to practice at home, but I can’t find a flag

i’m so confused how you got it to roll behind your neck not in front
