Great video, beautiful scenery. It's nice that they've left the remains of the aircraft in place as a memorial to those that died. Interesting story. I think it was Cotton grass that you passed. And Adam......Never Eat Shredded Wheat 😂
It is indeed Cotton grass in thrives in boggy grounds but you cant make cotton fabric from it it was used in Scotland in WW1 as a wound dressing and later in other areas as stuffing for pillows Came across your channel via link from Dave does hiking have now sub to yours love the video.
Well I'm glad somebody knows what it is. We're clueless when it comes to things like that 😂 Thanks for taking the time to check us out, Dave is a great lad. If you haven't already check out this video where we first met up with him as he takes us up to Highwillhays 🤙🏼 th-cam.com/video/AID32XfoqHo/w-d-xo.htmlsi=1rzD_IRhH-ZDs1ds
i remember that drop over the bridge i done a absail down that a long time ago yeah i remember that story but haven’t been there to have a look i think it was the weather but may be wrong
Nice vid however you guys do really need to take the basics with you on your walks. Map, compass, first aid kit, water etc. I know it's not a long walk but weather on the moor can change quickly and you never know what's around the corner.
Cool shots and interesting video👌
Great video guys! Very interesting, love a bit of history!
