What text editor are you using? the one I am using doesn't have the same format nor does it work to do chmod+ x test.sh. Do you know what I'm doing wrong? thanks in advance.
When you ran the test.sh script, it had not been explained that the user must first have moved to the test directory or whatever directory they had saved their test script to.
Is it possible to pack the command line into a .command file and execute it by single-licking in the working directory? for example, I want to the 1.txt in current working directory to multiple file with different name, such as, a.txt, bob.txt.

if you got 'Permission denied' at 6:58 you can easily say sh test.sh instead of the chmod workaround

Hey, make sure you're in BASH, by typing in "BASH" in the Terminal. This is because newer macOS versions have ZSH as the default.
