This is my first hour+ video (supposed to be 2 hours but i lost footage, thats ok tho). And it kind of looks like Egypt because the show references Egypt a lot and is the base of the card game. I think thats a pretty fun thing too because its not too common in modern media except like mummy movies lol.
@@TxrorTxins yeah the original yu gi oh series was heavily based on Egypt and Egyptian games called “Shadow Games” before duel monsters were introduced, the main character also carries round an Egyptian artefact which was part of a set of artefacts called the Millennium Items which all had different abilities. There are also really strong cards in yugioh called the god cards who are Obelisk, Ra and Slifer, and Ra is the Egyptian god of the sun. so yeah theres a lot of Egyptian references and stuff haha. The main character also has an ace set of cards called the Forbidden Exodia, which mirrors the story of Osiris, which is a main Egyptian god
