Yeah a reverse ESC is a good shout. Although I need to check that it wouldn't just turn into a water scoop going backwards 😅was lucky twice in this video as you saw, thankfully there was a random fence post laying around haha. Cheers mate
My wife just got me this for christmas. It does not come with the radio gear or battery. I was going to buy Flysky radio gear to put in it but saw a post somewhere that the Flysky won't work on this model,it was something to do with the wiring. I don't know what it was exactly and i cannot find the post. You have fitted the Frsky X9D transmitter but it is bit expensive for my pocket. Do you think Frsky X9 LITE would work on this model? Awesome video by the way!
Hi, On my version there is no “3D mode”. There are 3 modes: 1 Manual. 2 stabilised. 3 RTH. Mode 3 requires a GPS so without that you only have 2 modes. When you say 3D mode do you mean manual? So that you have full control with no assistance from the FC?
Snow would be ideal for this too! It's a fairly simple setup, if you watch the last part with the plane on the bench I go through all the setup on the stabiliser and also where the CG is etc. Thanks for watching :)
Adam, I would like to upgrade this plane. What motor would you recommend installing and should/could it go take 4c (with upgraded ecu) given the aerodynamics? Or would it just be out a bad idea in your opinion?

I just connected all the cables as you did, and I have binded the transmitter and receiver but it doesnt work. Can you give some advice with that? Many thanks

If I follow your wiring procedure of the stabilizer and I connect the cable to the CH5 of the receiver nothing is working except the stabilization for all the servos except de rudder. I honestly dont know whats going on... I dont know how to give signal to the serves while they are connected to the stabilizer instead of the receiver. Hope you can help me to make the plane fly. Thanks!

It's a black Skipper knock off isn't it..? Actually I recon it could go the distance FPV. These things fly well in windy conditions, yes, it is pricy for what it is, looks tough foam though...
Basically yes! The skipper available on HK has crazy delivery prices for some reason 🤷🏻♂️ It handles the wind extremely well, I should have mentioned that in the video. Flew it in 17mph wind on the maiden and it was fine... it could basically hover next to me in that wind as it's so light. Cheers

The receiver has a set button so it does not appear to use a bind plug but can’t find any procedure for the “xiaxiu-x6” transmitter it comes with in the instructions or online. Anyone had any success rebinding the receive and transmitter that come with this thing?
If you like it, be SURE you have a boat or something because of the water...my friends f16 is probably still floating on a dutch river or the NorthSea. Even a deep cold pond can mean you have no more airplane soon lol I hope they make a mini version of this plane soon
They had something like this constantly on those cheapo sites like wish ect about 6 months back..think it was something stupid like $15-$20. But looked to good to be true. The price on this though is truly shocking. you could build one with some foam board for about £50 easily.
Yeah it's overpriced for sure. But for those who don't care about the cost it is good fun! 😁 Still considering sticking a small Matek board on this and my RunCam Hybrid 🤔

Thanks 😊 I didn’t use any mount for my antennas, they are just 2 x small antenna tubes which I got glued in place, nothing fancy I’m afraid 😅

From memory you just need a receiver that outputs SBUS. That’s the only thing you need to look out for

Usual procedure is to put the tx into bind mode and then power on the rx while holding the button on it

I've not added a GPS to mine, it doesn't come with one as standard and I really don't think it's worth adding one. Cheers
