- J11 Float Plane, Sea Plane comes as a complete RTF bundle. You have everything in the box to make it fly off the water. Yet another variation on the Laddie Mikulasko "North Star" (RCM 1986). Clearly an excellent FPV platform. The stabilization system in this model appears to eliminate the roll wobble which this sort of design usually displays.

I've disconnected the gyro on mine and linked it to my jumper tx. So much fun to fly with it disconnected. Loops really well and rolls, point it to the sky and it just goes up.
nice, I thought of doing that because the structure of plane actually is a very nice flying one no need of gyro in fact
@@alishanmao I flew it in a little wind probably 15mph, maybe a little more, and it did wobble about abit, but still flew nice, need to setup my expo a little more to get it better currently at 40%. Still and amateur.

@@alishanmao thanks for your quick reply! I do have it plugged in ch5 and the stabilizer works with every servo except the rudder, but the servos doesn't work with the receiver, so its one thing or the other... Dont really know how to make them work both at same time.

Have you tried to fly without the FC to see if you can roll it and do aerobatics. I ordered mine today. Looking forward to giving it a try. Th and for the video. Good job.
I am not too keen to do aerobatics on it. its a floating jet, and it looks and flies better the scaled way :)
How did you set the gyro gains. Also. Why is the connector for the gyro plugged in across the first 3 channels and why does one connector not have the signal wire connected. Curious. Love your videos.

Well I just got the PNP version and I thought it would be obvious how to plug in to my Rx..it is not. Your closeup makes it even more confusing. Ch 4 & 5 are clear ( Ch 5 is clearly the plug without signal line in place.Ch 4 is the wire coming from rear of plane not from FC.), but what's going on 1-3? It kinda looks like you've got a plug across all three signal pins...?? I would assume that's an S.BUS line, but it's in the wrong spot for that Rx... so confused.
Just get a new receiver, install it, configure it without built in autopilot and you will have more fun

Hello excellent video I like your videos they are very helpful and cool, I have a question about this plane ,the nose of the plane doesn't fall with landings and the water doesn't get in inside the plane no matter how fast you fly it or run it on the water and to fly it on ground it has to be like on grass so it won't hurt or damage the bottom of the plane when landing it? Also what is the name of the cool and awesome robot at the end of the video
Thank you for watching and supporting my work. Nose does not fall off. water does go inside the plane no matter what you do, you can take off and land from ground or grass without worries. The Robot is called DOBI
@@alishanmao thank you for your answer. So if the plane gets water inside there is no problem with the circuits inside. I believe that parts are sealed against water and also I think that not too much water gets inside right? The robot is expensive?
sea water / salt water will fry everything. river, canals, lakes are ok
@@alishanmaohi, so the water gets inside but there is no problem with it only water from lakes and rivers never in the ocean or salt water. And how much water gets inside? Not to much but you can get it out of the plane and nothing happens to the electronics inside of it

@@alishanmao Thank you. I am into RCs for 8years, believe me, if I had found marks I would not have asked.
I also noticed there two versions of this airplane (sold under the same name) as you can see in the pictures from Banggood, your plane with the gigantic one piece hatch and my plane with a two-piece hatch but the dimensions and wing are pretty much identical.
I just put the battery 3S 1300mAh, all the way in the nose where the battery bay is. and it balances properly. I will check the CG again :)

remove the gyro and fly it without original gyro.

unfortunately i have not found it. only way is to directly use a different receiver like Futaba Receiver and connect to Servos directly. do not use the gyro unit.

You people are nuts flying with over head lines like that. I killed my brand new Maule that way. RC Sailors were afraid to fly theirs off water( this plane, not the Maule) That is a terrible place to fly planes, but you do it. I wouldnt waste my money on that plane. I hate the shape, color and flight charteristics.
we have always been nuts to fly RC :D
