Thank you for the little flips and showing the answer pages! Here I was getting ready to place my first order with Amazon JP. But I already have that book - under a different name and an older release date (Camille de Montmorillon, Animals Colouring By Numbers, 2015) 🤔 I checked my copy, and those pictures are all Shutterstock images. I guess it is fair to use those images under different publishers for books in different parts of the world. I've now found these in English, French and Japanese, all with different covers. It can get confusing though, especially if you want them all and think they're all different... Nein! 🙀 I wish they included the answer pages on the listing. That way we could make sure we get all the different ones (regardless if it's in English, French or Japanese), without the headache of purchasing and then having to return, because duplicates... 😴 I'm like you and I enjoy colouring that style of CBN very much. But your lil flip just saved me a few British bux! 😄

all the grande carre pixel books on Lireka are unavailable :( not sure if they're ever coming back. i put them all on my wishlist, but they are a few years old, so maybe they're not making them anymore... i love the similar ones you got from Japan! i have stayed away from shopping on Amazon Japan because it's a rabbit hole i don't need in my life HAHA but the CBN ones are so pretty! i finally picked up 2 of Ajay Quinnell's books, but the non-circulism ones... i think Canada and Pacific. if i may request for a future video to share what you use in your George Toufexis CBN books? i've only ever used colored pencils and started venturing into markers, but watercolor markers due to less bleed-through... what colored pencils do you favor with Creative Haven paper? (along the same lines, maybe go through all the different coloring book paper and share your favorite mediums, what you've tested, etc) love your book hauls!

Oh, I simply use alcohol markers in my George Toufexis books, there's nothing much to say about it, as his books are single sided I don't mind the bleed-through ☺ I'm not a pro in figuring out a good paper/colored pencils combination, but I like Prismacolors, Kalours and Brutfuners the most. As they are soft I feel like they work on any paper 😅 I'm not all that knowledgable and just wing it most of the time 😂
@@feralshojo LOL thank you! yeah, i wing it all the time, too. trial and error! :) i feel like the harder leaded colored pencils work the best for me in George Toufexis' books (and the Hachette books too)... i also have Kalours and Brutfuners, too... but when i use them on other paper (including the Hachette books), they don't fill in quite as much... but then again, i don't burnish and i forget to use my blender pencils. my Prismacolors are in storage (as is my Faber Castells) because i didn't think we'd be staying in this apartment as long as we have... once we move into our house around Thanksgiving, i'll have all my stuff back! i just have no storage in this apartment because we didn't bring much to go in here... so a lot of my new coloring books, supplies, etc, are stacked on the floor! as far as using alcohol markers, i have them, too... even with the nib tip, it doesn't quite get into the tiniest of spaces. that's why i was thinking of just using colored pencils... i have ordered a few sets of fineliners, so i'm going to try that next... i guess i could use the extra-fine tip Sharpies? but i hate the smell! LOL
Hmmm, I think it often comes down to personal preference as to which supplies work best. I do burnish with all my colored pencils in the color by number books though, so that might make a difference. I hope time passes fast for you until you can be in your new house! All the best! 🥰

I didn't know you could use Acrylic paint in coloring books.
If the paper is not super thin, you can! It depends on the consistency of the paint, but if it's not too water-y, paint works well in coloring books ☺
