    Thank you for providing this video. Small correction need in the end calculations i.e The moisture content what we got is w.r.t bulk soil(Wt), from this we have to calculate moisture content w.r.t soil solids from the formula w= Wt/(1-Wt). Which we use in dry density formula r/(1+w). We will get 98.47% compaction petcentage

    That moisture meter tells you the moisture content based on wet weight, but the moisture value that you need for this calculation is based on dry weight. The dry-based moisture content will be higher than the wet-based moisture value that you used, leading to a lower calculated value for your percent compaction.

    Sand Replacement Method is more appropriate to measure FDD than core cutter method.
