That festival area is a dead zone... has been for years! My kids are going for the again. If you are meeting people, pick a spot BEFORE hand! If you are getting picked up or dropped off, again, pick a spot! To all of you going, have a blast!!
PSA: Go airplane mode or off to save battery if you're out of service range, or turn mobile data off if you have bars but it keeps searching for data connection. EDIT: P.S.: I can't give an exact battery percentage, but because of the amount of processing and the length of full brightness during a phone restart, there comes a point when it's better to leave the phone on, battery extender app to maximum, data, bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi, & hotspot all off, and all other apps cleared except for a screen-dimmer that's set to max. This makes your screen much darker than the dimmest factory setting, which will last much, much longer, and there's usually a switch, dimmer, or access to the settings in the drop-down menu when you decide you need to see the screen. You can also turn notifications and haptic feedback off or down to the minimum you need, since those also take energy. Depending on your level of data connection and how much background data your apps use, (which is also something you can turn off,) will affect whether it's better for you to turn off Sync and do manual update attempts from an open app if you turn data on to check.
