I had this truck back in 1996. The stripped counter gear is a constant issue because for some reason, the engine always seems to always shake itself free. The other issue is that because of weight, the clutch tends to get really hot, making it easy to strip that gaer. I've never been able to find a complete metal counter gear, causing me to constantly stocking up on extras. The bulkhead see-through cover slides out, making it easy to grease the diffs.
I've been in this for over 40 years and I will say that that's probably just like a boost tank it's not a filter exactly but it did help build boost back in the day that's the way a lot of things were on 8th scale buggies but I could be wrong LOL I have vintage buggies with those already installed because it was a thing back in the day anyways I like your R&D keep up the good work bud

Hey bro, yes, getting pretty screwed on an old model like this is usually the worst case scenario, I also didn’t even have the heart to tell people that the engine is completely dead as well. I am working on a solution right now and I’m sure I’ll have an update soon. Thanks so much for being here with me throughout the years you are one of the most dedicated viewers I have ever had.

Also I do have a 10th scale like that it's a ofna pirate 10 with a hyper 21 so I'm not sure Kyosho is the first but yes it does have a center diff and still a buggy chassis so similar but yet different anyways good luck
Could you delete counter gear and flip your diffs so run opposite direction?
