I have to believe there are a lot of top-level strategists that are advising her that Walz has WAY more positives than negatives. I've watched many videos of all the primary candidates for VP, and his communication skills are head and shoulders above the rest.

He's the VP pick that can make it a landslide win for Harris by bringing back SO MANY disillusioned folks that would traditionally vote for Democrats, but who in recent years were hoodwinked into voting against their best interests by supporting Republicans, or far worse, joining the MAGA cult. Tim Walz is the ONLY guy who can speak directly to those voters and explain how Democratic policies will improve their lives, while cutting through the nonsense they hear from the other side. Some suggestions as Melbourne is the world capital of coffee. Enjoy some lattes around town, wander up and down Lygon Street in Carlton. Likewise Acland street in St Kilda ( including the pier ), plenty of tram rides ( around the city centre is free ) and do yourself a favour and see an AFL game at the MCG. State Library is fabulous. Enjoy it and have fun ! Great Spanish food as well.

I grew up in rural Pennsylvania, solid Republican country. I know for a fact Walz would win many of them over with his plain common sense talk. Without a doubt.
I grew up outside Philly but lived in rural PA since I was 18. I agree 100%. He speaks like a normal person anyone would want to chat with. He's done some amazing things for only having a 1 seat majority. Now he needs to expand that. And hopefully he runs for prez 8 yrs from now, too

Walz is not flashy but highly likeable - he has a positive, but pragmatic approach. Excellent speaker and appeals to a broad audience. I like Shapiro, but he has some baggage. Walz is like that Uncle that you would go to for advice when you weren't comfy asking your parent. I think that US voters are looking for a down to earth person who is easy to listen to. At this point as many of us are burnt out on extreme rhetoric.

Walz is the only candidate that I’ve seen who gets some of the people who were talking about voting third party say they would volunteer for the campaign if Walz is on the ticket. He brings new hope.
I certainly don't think that the only thing a VP pick can do it carry their home state. Listening to Tim Waltz talk is the first time I've been excited to vote since Obama first rose to prominence. We've been voting for damage control for too long. Tim Waltz is the first person I'd vote FOR instead of having to vote AGAINST.

I’m from Minnesota and support Watz for vice president enthusiastically. Above everything else he is a team player. You don’t have to worry about someone who has future presidential aspirations. like me, he is a military veteran 0:03 and understands the importance of the war in Ukraine.
