I worked in a railway drawing office from 1978-83. All drawings were 'hand drawn' then (no CAD yet). The section supervisors would 'tick us off' for writing 'shewn' instead of 'shown' on the drawings!
Have to commend you on your mic set up. Hearing the balance of voices move from left to right depending on who is speaking makes it feel much more in person!
No way, I cant believe somebody actually notice that! Thank you so much, hope it was nice and not distracting and thank you for noticing - Chris (Director)
@@tracingtherailsGood quality sound is important! There are many great videos out there that are let down by poor quality sound, so when I watch something that also sounds great it really stands out. Enjoying the Sidings series so far and look forward to the main Tracing The Rails series when you post it!
@@richardwest217Cyanotypes are blue.. Cyan in the name is the clue 😉 Blueprints are Cyanotypes. What's in the video is just large hand drawn architectural drawings that have been copied using some kind of large format photo copier.
A nice drawing from the past! Thank you for sharing! See you on the next. Cheers mates! 🇬🇧🙂👍🇺🇸
What a lovely message, the more people love it, the more we want to make them! :) - Chris
Love the architectural drawings, thank you for showing the detail they went to.
Our pleasure! We are loving making these and the kind feedback we get. Thank you for watching them! - Chris :)
What an interesting glimpse into these wonderful drawings of buildings that still stand today. Lovely little episode!
Really glad you liked it. Thanks for the great feedback - Chris

More history via walks please.
There will be plenty of that in the main episodes. These mini webisodes are just little extras we gather as we record the programme. 😊

It isn't a blueprint.
Blueprints are blue.
There is a clue in the name.
