HKS hi power is hands down best sounding exhaust for an RB - have one on my 33. Paired with there T51R manifold it gets even better again. Due to that manifold being so hard to find now, a guy in eurupe is re creating them (HPS fab) in the hks design - classic sound and cannot wait to get one of his manifolds in the future. Surprised how good the artec sounds though.
There's a lot of work that goes into a proper exhaust system as you know. From geometry calculated specifically for backpressure or diameter calculated specifically for a desired tone/exhaust note. Sounds incredible and extremely well refined. HKS is an amazing company! 🙌

back in the day when i had my Black MK3 1987 Supra Turbo i had an Apexi N1 cat-back, catless downpipe and a tubular turbo elbow so the exhaust was very free flowing and i loved how it sounded with the Targa top off. i mostly rode around with the TEMS in Sport mode so when i shifted gears the rear wouldn't squat as much.
This is a bitter sweet episode for me I remember I started watching like 2 years ago when you had your small shop and I always saw this car in the back and always dream of seeing it run again
One of the best old HKS exhaust on RBs is the HKS Super Dragger. It has deep smooth tone at lower revs, but really emphasizes the RB sound at higher revs. I guess it's discontinued because the Hi-Power has more efficient design.
Konichiwa Aussie, bro. Ride of the Valkyries sound track. Smooth and tight. After fitting a HKS exhaust, they are JDM and OEM so legal in Australia. No vbands on exhaust would drive me nuts. Ever since like the Tial wg and turbines, I must vband all haha.. remember the 2bolt 38mm tial and even the 4bolt hks wg back in like 2004 on some of my old projects.. evil using bolts anymore. Sounds goood!

I remember that feeling back on 2002 when I Installed my first HKS hi power exhaust on my KA 240sx that would eventually be turboed and was my 2nd of about 30 S- chassis I would end up owning out of the 90+ cars I’ve owned thus far.
I have those documents for my BC racing ZR coil overs worst $3k I've ever spent the rear shocks and springs are rubbish surprised the shocks didn't shatter after the bump stops got destroyed it was instant not after a few weeks trash straight from install. Nissan skyline coupe 370GTSSP 2008.

I love my HKS Hi Power on mine. But mine is the R33 GTR and it fit just fine. It has a different resonator then the GTST
