This is one of the few virtual Rhodes that feels inspiring to play. It would be incredible to have the complete effects section, and speaker/room simulations released as a comprehensive Apollo/native Rhodes effects package. I have some of the classic pedals for the physical Rhodes, but would love to have the flexibility of the effects package available for Apollo/native use. It would likely be hard to resist for the majority of Rhodes owners.
I’ve been searching for a while for a Rhodes plug-in that sounded amazing on the default setting. This is the one. The default setting is amazing, I can get right to composing asap. Great product. I never write reviews in comment sections but I’m just very happy after using this plug-in. It has the Rhodes sound I’ve been searching for for so long
Fully agree the default is unreal on this thing. I tested against several other well known Rhodes but end up preferring this one by a lot. Very lush sounding.
The chorus is already out on spark, the flanger isn't though. That spring reverb sounds amazing though. I would love a stereo version of that with some extra controls. That and the echoplex of course, I know UAD already has a DSP version of that.
At first try it might seem on par with some of the other options out there, but all UAD plugins sit in the mix like no other plugins do and really allow creativity to lead the way. (Wish the Chorus was stereo though)
This is incredible! I will try it out but sounds amazing. Next UA should do a proper virtual drum kit, that would be amazing! No one can make a virtual instrument like UA, with that analog vibe. Plus still waiting a multi out for LUNA! Anyways good job really it’s awesome 🤘🏻
Please make an update with a matching loudness for the preset, its super not cool to have to dial the volume almost each time to try a preset into a mix... Or just to dont smash our ears from a quite preset to a super loud one!
(Fixed the video link, now it leads to a proper Wurly model) UA please grace us with a funky Wurly piano. And not a wimpy one like Scarbee. Bolder, more like this model here >> /watch?v=srxISsG1e7U ... Bit more bark, bit more weight to it. Five recorded sources would be great, namely 1) Direct line out 2) Left & right built-in native Wurly speakers (close mics), 3) Samples taken from "a player's position" (mid-far mics) for a more live, "in the room" presence feel, 4) Mics over keyboard and harp with the Wurly reeds to capture the mechanics, and ultimately 5) a guitar amp source like Fender Twin Reverb or similar. And the ability to blend and mix these sources to taste. Please tell the UA dev team, perhaps, they appreciate the idea. Thanks!
This thing looks chill AF. Spark keeps getting more enticing! I'm wondering if y'all have any plans to include Luna with Spark? I have a satellite and love y'alls plugins. Luna looks cool and I wanna try it so bad!
I recently purchased Electra 88. I've been using it with Logic and Mainstage on my Intel iMac. The sound quality is good, but I'm experiencing an issue where the keyboard displays multiple keys being pressed at once in a clustered manner, instead of the single key I press. The most significant problem, however, is that I can't use the sustain pedal properly. When I press the switch pedal and play, then release the pedal, the sound continues to sustain for an excessively long time. I've tried other instruments like NI pianos without any issues, so the problem doesn't seem to be with my master keyboard or pedals. What could be causing this? I've reinstalled the software several times to no avail. I've also reached out to UAD about this issue, but haven't received a response yet.
Sounds like your sustain pedal is not a momentary switch which is what their expecting maybe? Its possible there is a setting inside the midi settings of the daw that's hosting it that can be set. Did they help you fix it?
Is it just me or the plugin is kinda bugged when you're using it? I often find fx turning off on its own. so I had to turn off and on the plugin. it's great, but this bug is kinda messing with the workflow sometimes because sounds becomes inconsistent.
How sad... I am not impressed. It is just "ok". Not very realistic. To me this product is more about the effect pedals then the realism of the Electra 88 alone.

used this in a song I am still composing and I was going for a 70's RNB vibe... this fit perfectly.

Nice!! Thanks for the report!

I’ve played the V8 and Arturia and this is by far the best one Electra 88 is my go to. Love the pedals and echoplex
We need those pedals as standalone effects.
UAD read this comment thanks

Haha, I was thinking the same!! 😂 It's like with the Waterfall and the rotary speaker, but they did release that one as a plugin, which I grabbed.
I want that silverpanel twin!
Great demo, Matt! 🔥🔥
I'm getting this.
This is great and I'm looking forward to more variations.
Mark2 and Mark5 for example, and of course Wurli.

Indeed, this is our aim. Record quality, sitting in the mix as needed right out of the gate.

Yes please do a drum vst!
I love that you guys use the Jan Hammer Group!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

I can't believe this isn't talked about more
5:33 - Bob Mayo on the keyboards, Bob Mayo!

Sorry, we can't comment on any future developments or releases. We appreciate your interest though and encourage you to stay tuned.
Please make that spring reverb and the echo stand alone plugins... I need them
Wahnsinn -Need this Beast.
Can you run other audio through the signal chain on these plugs or is it limited to just the VI audio?
Just the Rhodes itself.
When does this stuff come out for iPad. Get with the times

So sad ...can´t automate FX 😥

totally agree, i was kind of expecting to hear the dry piano at some point early on
@@markcasebullock I have it... It sounds absolutely amazing dry. You really don't even need effects for this.
