Great video, and a great bird, I love them, they are a well spent small amount of money. I can't fly collective pitch yet, and I can't fly the v912, or my f645 birds inside. The weather is crazy here. I have videos up with my phantom yesterday morning and it's snowing, then at the same park last evening it was sunny.
Cory Reeves: I will check out your video. If your like me I am just glad to get something in the air with all the crazy weather. I had my 6 channel Genius CP out last night flying it around. Boy what a diiference between the 4 and 6 channels. Much more hands on with 6 channel and I am still just a novice after 2 years of flying it. It takes all I can to complete a flight without crashing. I just love flying these little babys...Fly Hard Brotha...TBT
Thanks Terry, I am going to go check out an RC air field here tomorrow, I think it costs to fly there, I'll see if it does, and if so what it costs. Here in wyoming it is wide open, there are free places to fly all over, and I'm supposed to be on a budget lol
Terry, I bought a new bird. I picked up a T-Rex 500 super combo beast flybarless. I will post the build wish me luck everything including the simulator to fly it cost me just under 800 bucks. It is my first collective pitch helicopter. My trainer flies a thunder tiger 700e.
Cory Reeves: Hey brotha you got to let us know how that baby flys. Please post some videos and your progress. I bought a V977 and started a video on what I think about it. This heli I will fly inverted or should I say crash trying. Fly Hard Brotha...TBT
Terry L Thank you Terry. I told them at banggood your videos led me to shop with them. I just ordered a back-up v912 from banggood I should have asked you to refer me. I like the V977 I want one. let us have a video on the V977 it looks like one sweet heli. I wish the BNF would bind to my dx6i or my v912 radio lol. My v912 BNF was only 43.00
do you use a simulator. I can flip and crash on phoenix very well. I am excited, but respectfull of the helicopter I have odered. It's way bigger than a 450. It could seriously hurt me.
Cory Reeves: I thought about a simulator. I have read lots of reviews on them but at this time the biggest down fall is they don't have a throttle up switch and some don't have a 3d switch. I am going to flip this V977 and if it crashes hard I will just replace parts. But if it gets to expensive to replace I may decide to get a simulator in the future. Do you like your phoenix and do you think it really helped you?
Terry L It teaches muscle memory for getting the feel of flying scale, and basic hovering, and you can fly inverted, but it sucks for that. it teaches you to keep your bird in the air and land it. and a collective pitch heli that is micro sized is twice as hard to just keep stable. if you can allready hover a collective pitch, it will still help you get the stick movements down for 3d
Hey Terry, can you help me....? v911-pro 10-20 flights with a few hard landings....ok...then on start up the tail whips violently L-R or R-L 90-180 deg, pulsing uncontrolably?????, so i order a new T-motor (China) wait....! 1 week later i try the chopper again for the hell off it and it works perfect for 30sec then back to whiping?????????, replace with new motor...it works for 30sec then same whiping, not the motor.....? i have a v911 and v911-2 both work perfect so not the transitmiter....., any ideas .....? thank"s man, great videos and info....!
Ama B Wow thats a tough one. You tried a new tail motor and its not the transmitter. Don't know if your new motor came with tail blade attached but if it did not make sure you tail blade itself is not slipping on tail motor shaft. Other than that maybe a bad main board. Just remember to be careful not to get too much money tied up in repairs when you can buy a BNF for a little over 20.00 dollars. Full Throttle & Blue Sky's Brotha..TBT
