Many thanks for the Great recipe Jill ... I have been making flax crackers for years but I enjoyed your wet blending ! I reused the water 9 times (9 tray dehydrator) and came away with a nutrient dense, highly alkaline ‘juice’ that I will enjoy in soup or on its own in small amounts mixed with water or Chaga ! 💜
I've been coming back to this video for about 3 years now, just for 13:50. Fyi tried making these and if you dont dehydrate them all the way you can sort of use it as a tortilla/lavash for a small wrap. The whole sheet of the dehydrator is about the size of a standard lavash if you were to make a lettuce, cabbage, carrot, chicken wrap like chic-fil-a does. Lavash is the best alternative to make replica chic-fil-a wraps.
Love your enthusiasm and fun sense of humor. Making this right now as I type in comments. Hope to see more fun dehydrated recipes here. I love anything healthy and vegan. Have a blessed day 👼
To make even thickness I put 2 pencils on my dehydrator trays and place the ground ingreadients in between the pencils and use the pencils as railway tracks to hold your spatula to a consistent height thus making your crackers even thickness for even drying ,when your done just remove and wash your pencils and your tray is ready for the dehydrator
I made the tomato/onion version, with whole flax seeds cause I didn’t have the ground and didn’t want to mess with grinding them myself. Turned out great, thanks for the recipe!
Thank you for this idea, lovely lady. And thank you for the deep, deep belly laugh! Have you watched this lately?? You should! I know I would enjoy sharing a pot of tea with you.
If no one has not yet tried this recipe, you’re missing out 😋I made it over the weekend and it didn’t last long 😋😋😋😋😋 it’s absolutely ridiculous delicious 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰😋😋😋😋
Just came across your video and really want to try these, they look so yummy! Trying to do keto for my headaches , and other health issues. Can’t wait to get more onions and make them!
Holy Cow! I just made the nacho crackers and they were amazing! We couldn't stop eating them. The second batch I made I added about a tablespoon of chia seeds, just for fun (and a little more nutrition). Also, the wet chopping is genius! Thank you, thank you! 😁💛
Thanks, Jill! I already have an Excalibur dehydrator, used to be for deer jerky, but NoOOOwww, it will be used for so much more healthy and yummy things... Can't wait to see more of your inspiring recipes and You! XOXOXOXO! You da Bestest, Ever.
Just found your channel.. and you are AWESOME!! I am always looking for new ways to use my dehydrator.. thanks for these super yummy recipes! I'm gonna be binge watching your channel for sure.
I am a huge fan of your AND Tannyraw's channel, so I'm glad to hear you reference her. I am a single 58 year old woman. I don't have my own vegetable garden. As an apartment dweller, do you think a 4 or 5 drawer Excalibur would be a better choice for me?
+Julie Shiver The number of trays you choose should be based on how much you plan to create. Also the more you dry in one sitting the longer it takes to dry foods, so having the larger dehydrator could be beneficial. I am teaching myself more and more about dehydrating recipes and learning that I could have chips or crackers drying on a few trays while at the same time creating pizza crusts or drying vegetables on other trays. Getting the most out of my dehydrator is completely up to me and how well I plan.
I will make some. This time I will use sun-dried tomatoes and veggie broth instead of water. I will let you know how that go. Thanks for sharing, love.
Love this!! Imma buy myself one and looked up recipes for crackers and you’re are like one of the only few I can find. Do you have any new cracker or dehydrator recipes? 🙏🤓
Hi, I made these, they are very good. I added homemade hummus on top and then added sliced cucumbers. Might you consider doing a dehydrated recipe with carrot and apple? Thanks
Thanks I love onions will defiantly have make both your recipes. Do you have a corn or veggie chip dehydrated recipe for salsa or guacamole? Or any chewy crispy cookies? I used to love junk food so this way of preparation is ideal my dream come true!!
Wondering if you could partially dehydrate the tomatoes before wet chopping them with the onions. I would think you'd keep more of the tomato in the final mix.
You're on to something there. I was thinking the other day how I should have chopped the tomatoes and stirred them into the onion-flax mix then moved onto the drying sheets. I have more tomatoes and onions, I should slide a batch in the dryer right now!
You r a mess😂😂 now I have to buy that dehydrator and make these as soon as I get the dehydrator....love your channel. You are so funny! Thanks for your trial and error.
Soooo funny. Loved the dehydrating stuff. I'm new to Keto so I reckon these are better than the fried or roasted ones. Now I gotta get a dehydrator. Been thinking of it for a while now. bye
Great recipe Jilly, Why not mince in processor and they less loss of nutrient, enzymes, and flavor, and requiring less dehydration, and take it from their.
Hi Jill, your crackers look delicious. I love my dehydrator and I love all the healthy ingredients you have used in your two recipes I definitely want to try them but I would like to dehydrate at a lower temp to keep them raw. I usually dehydrate 115° or less have you tried this? Thank you for the recipe
Hi Kim. I have not tried a lower temperature. The goal of this recipe is to create a crispy cracker. I don't follow a raw diet, so I can't help you out. Try TannyRaw's channel, it's where I got this recipe. 😃
Hi Jill! Do these taste anything like those junk food “veggie straws” that are really just potato chips? The texture looks similar (light and crisp). Looking for a healthy alternative. Also wondering if i could make them in the Breville Air - have u tried with air fry or dehydrate functions? THANKS :-)
Haha, you are so cute and funny!! Thank you for the recipes, I just got a new dehydrator yesterday and will be making these tonight with my boyfriend :) thank you thank you
I'm super excited to get home and try this recipe. It's so clean i can feel good about eating them!!! thank you so much for all your recipes and your amazing personality!!
It could take anywhere from 8 to 12 hours. Onions hold a lot of water, so they need time to dry out. Crispiness is obvious when the crackers get to it. If the edges become crispy before the center, break the cracker sheet in half and flip the inside sheet to the outside . Make sense?
Oh-by-gosh you have the exact same strainer as I do, it's an old one don't remember where i got it! but, I have had Nephews, Nieces kids saying how cool it is
Many thanks for the Great recipe Jill ... I have been making flax crackers for years but I enjoyed your wet blending ! Love your taste test! You are super fun! Thank you for sharing!!!

Actually just saw some other lady making wraps with these when i hit the back button. Made 6yrs ago. You are the OG though.
Hi Jill! Love your videos, your personality, recipes and bunny ears ! Thanks for being you!
Oh thank you!
Love your enthusiasm and fun sense of humor. Making this right now as I type in comments. Hope to see more fun dehydrated recipes here. I love anything healthy and vegan. Have a blessed day 👼
Just love your vibrancy and bubbliness😉....you've made me smile😊

Love the way you test your delicious chips. I di the exact same thing, when nobody is watching. Good to know I'm not alone 😄
LOL you just made me go out and buy a dehydrator. I love your enthusiasm!!!
P.S. it seems like the water you strain off from the wet chop might be flavorful and good as a veg stock base liquid.
+Julie Shiver you may be right, I had not thought of that
yes I have done that :) nutrient dense water
That was exactly what I thought when she poured it :))
And I pour it into a container and freeze it until I need it for soup stock.
@@DoloresJRush Might want to heat it before freezing to kill enzymes that go weird tasting in the freezer.
I love watching you because your personality is so Awesome that you make everything interesting. I look forward to trying your recipes!
Thank you for this idea, lovely lady. And thank you for the deep, deep belly laugh! Have you watched this lately?? You should! I know I would enjoy sharing a pot of tea with you.

I just came across this vid 3 months ago. I have probably made 10+ pounds of these by now. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the input Patty
Jill, that is a good point that the volume of the dryer contributes to the speed of dehydrating.
Costco is the best place to buy a Vitamix or Excalibur Dehydrator
Tried these and looooved them! Thanks for sharing this.🐰
It's really amazing!!!
Can you do kale crackers? With like the kale chip flavors like ranch, buffalo, and nacho ?
Hi Jill!!! 👋 love your videos!!!! Do you happen to know of a swap for the flax seed (I’m sadly allergic). ☮️💜
Hey Jill, looks soooooo good!
Can I do this in an oven and if so, how long?? I got your book and I love it!!
Hi, I made these, they are very good. I added homemade hummus on top and then added sliced cucumbers. Might you consider doing a dehydrated recipe with carrot and apple? Thanks
Thanks for the awesome recipes 😊✌🏼️
Did hubby & the kids like these? Going to give them a try this weekend.
Hubby liked them and ate them with me. Max wasn't ready for them, too much onion for him.
Thanks for the recipe. I will be making it this week. :)

you are so funny! lol! thanks for sharing. I find that most I make in the dehydrator barely gets a chance to make it to a storage container!
How long to keep in dehydrator? 1st recipe
It could take anywhere from 8 to 12 hours. Onions hold a lot of water, so they need time to dry out. Crispiness is obvious when the crackers get to it. If the edges become crispy before the center, break the cracker sheet in half and flip the inside sheet to the outside . Make sense?
Does running a dehydrator use a lot of electricity? Was there a bump in the electric bill?
+Smudgemom2003 Just the other day a friend told me a dehydrator cost six cents an hour to run.
Great video. Thank you.
Thank you! Looking to get a dehydrator. Sold!
love it....you make me laugh ....thanks.love and light
Super, ale dobre ! Very nice !
Oh-by-gosh you have the exact same strainer as I do, it's an old one don't remember where i got it! but, I have had Nephews, Nieces kids saying how cool it is
really good video, thanks
Thank you, J!
Can we use disposable waxed paper/parchment paper instead of washing the dehydrator sheets? I would rather have one less thing to wash.
Seems like parchment paper would work the same as the sheets. Try it! Let me how it out.
Looks great!
Just subscribed, ur pure and very funny, luv ur personality!
More dehydrator recipes, pretty please!!!!
are the crackers gluten free
Its so inspiring , thnk you so much
Jill, love the colander! My mother had one like that. How old is it?
By the way, my dehydrator is now in my laundry room. Thanks Jill!
i love your recipe. please add more,
