The Palm House, Botanic Gardens, Belfast

The Palm House is a large glasshouse which was completed in 1840, to provide an environment where tropical and local plants could be displayed year round. It is situated in Botanic Gardens in Belfast which was first opened to the public in 1895 as a public park.
