This mall was a huge part of my life when I was younger. A lot of good memories there, and at least one that was terrible. 17 years ago this mall was a place where you could show up alone with no plans, and run into a dozen people you knew. Or even meet new ones you'd never met, and spend the entire evening with them. It was like the center of the town. I'm so glad that I got to be a kid just before the internet changed everything forever. Today it feels like we don't have these places anymore where we go and get to be people together.
@@drownthepoor 100% agree with you man. This push for technology in recent years has really had a profound effect on way people these days socialize and live.
The only reason this place has no soul is because it's dead now. 15 years ago it would be alive with people you knew, and people you might meet for the first time. It was the heart of Glen Burnie.
I drive by this place at least twice a month (it's a few blocks away from the relocated Games and Stuff), and have never been inside. I need to fix that ASAP.
Not a bad looking mall, the neon is an especially nice touch, but vacancies seem too high to make a rebound an easy process, And that's not even to mention Namdar.

Thx North!!
Catching up on some of your earlier this year videos. This one is decent! If I ever get to the Baltimore area, I'd love to see Marley Station.
@@BoratWanksta Thx man! For sure, if you’re ever in this area, definitely go check it out as it is an unforgettable experience.
I live in a small country town with no mall and I loved this video to remind me how little soul these places have when I can go and ask my local store
Thx man!

Great video. Thanks.
Glad you liked it!
I always love that this mall still has its neon. it may not be in the perfect condition, but i absolutely love to see it.
Nice! I love the neon in this video and how everything looks, I wish one place in my area still had anytype of neon!
Thanks!
Seeing that old 80s champs with the arcade cabinets in it is SO cool, I wish I could’ve seen that in my visit😅
You gotta revisit it man
Nice! I'm currently trying to catch up on videos since I'm away in Europe for a short vacation.
Oh, nice man! Enjoy your trip!
Awesome video! I really need to check up on this mall again given I'm less than two hours from it lol.
Thx man! You need to check this place out, it is definitely one of Taubman’s masterpieces.

Namdar at its finest I see.

Yeah, Namdar owning this mall is never a good sign
