Let me know - would you do a Transatlantic Cruise? And if you have been do you prefer flying to Barbados and travelling back to Southampton or vice versa. And don't forget if you liked this video to subscribe to my channel www.youtube.com/@solotravel1974?sub_confirmation=1

I’ve done a transatlantic and transpacific. I enjoy sea days, so much so that I’m doing another transpacific next year.

Thanks for the infornative video - just been looking at booking a transatlantic cruise. Just wondering whether I would be bored with so many sea days?

There is lots of activities to do onboard and it’s nice to have some time to relax as well

I've crossed the Atantic twice, by ship, once each way & had a great time, both ways!
The seven days at sea was long, but it depends what amenities the ship has on it &
mine had a lot, i.e RCCL Independence of the Seas, plus it included 7 days to "Med"
ports! My second cruise went the northern route, ie.Iceland & Greenland, straight to NYC!

It's a crossing. Not a cruise. Take the QM2; the last of the ocean liners.

You have zero knowledge of a crossing, Southampton to New York, or the east bound voyage New York to Southampton) on an Ocean Liner (ie RMS Queen Mary 2, the world's only Ocean Liner).
When you've done it, come back and comment.
Until then, only comment on what you've actually experienced, thank you.

@@martynmiller4247 As a platinum QM2 member I have to agree with you. I take QM2 twice a year. Is "she" perfect? No, but I'd far sooner take her than fly.
