Heart Touching interview ! I have always respected and adored Naushad Ali as Great Music Director and a Humble Human Being ! A Perfect Hindustani Soul (not by Relgion but by Culture ). I heard another episode on You Tube in which the narrator greatly admired his Art but he sited few examples by which he explained that from deep of his heart he favoured Muslims over Hindus ! I was very much shocked ! My heart was not accepting that after reaching to such a Great height a man could forget the Great Culture that nurtured him and and tremendous mount of fame and love showered upon him without seeing whether he was Hindu or Muslim ! He was born in a Muslim family where Music is considered as Haram and hardly few people appreciate the art or the Artist! Artist like Bade Gulam Ali Khan Saheb had gone to Pakistan after Partition. There no body took notice of him .He felt neglected and was so frustrated that he returned to India where he was surprised to see that then P. M. MR. Nehru had personally come to the air port to welcom him ! This is Hindustani Culture where every person irrespective of his or her caste , colour or religion , has equal opportunity to cultivate any Art or Profession and get reward and fame for the same . Mr. Shaukat Ali ( Naushad ) is one among Many such examples . A Hindu has never seen anybody's Religion ,Cast ,Creed or Colour of any deserving person whether he is Tagore , A.P J. Abdul Kalam , Gen. Maneckshaw , Mohd. Rafi or Tatas ! That is why Indian Culture is richest among all the civilizations of the world . Her Boucke is colorful with different colours of flowers .
