For anyone struggling to survive late game with this build as some of the gems and void battery for example are crazy expensive. I recommend switching out Arctic breath, greater multiple projectiles and cast when taken damage. What you need is a dagger with spell crit, spell damage etc with a free Suffix, craft on it "trigger a socketed spell when you use a skill". Here you add molten shell, summon lightning golem (as it dies way to quick) and whatever else you want , I have efficacy. This give you 1500+ damage absorption at level 20 every time you cast a skill (flame dash, blade vortex), so it constantly casts for you, granting 1500 + reduction every few seconds and a constant golem. I recommend running a mana pot just to keep topped off. Helped me loads., hope this helps.
Using this as league starter and played for a week now. Feels clunky at beginning but easy to setup and get to mid/end game. Being melee ranged is probably worst at boss fights, where literally any hit can shave your hp quicker than you may realize since it mostly relies on evasion as defence. Woudn't recomment this for HC, but pretty neat for softcore.
Going for a variant of this, with poison stacking and the new herald that gives you that insane pet. Tried BV chieftain during Flashback with full fire conversion and it was dope, but I want to get back into Shadow this league. Also, the music is spooky, I like it.
Played this build for the past weeks now and I am really struggling to stay alive against the Syndicate members and bosses. They just oneshot me from 100%-0% with ease. Got the whole build besides the 2 Void Batterys. Max Resi, 4.2k HP atm. Been running t10+ maps for the past days and it really gets tough on the t13+ maps. Once I roll reflect physical damage I dont even need to try any single target mob.
i m almost new to POE and i have built this skill and it is really work well for me , i could pass act10 with magic and rare items that i had looted from acts,without buying or spending any currency ,tnx very much

I haven't played PoE in long time but I decided to come back now with some sort of Vortex Blade build. I'm thinking most likely to go Pathfinder Ranger rather than Shadow as I got used to that when I used to play. The question is that how vital are those Power Charges on this build of yours? If I go Pathfinder do I need to build it all over again or could I adjust this build for example without power charges at all or should I still keep the power charges for the build? I never really liked builds that used lot's of charges even as I know that they are usually quite vital to have that end game high dps..
Cool build I would love to try. Question is how do I get all of the things I need for this build. Only roughly 20 hrs in to the game, can't find items with these exact socket link and color to match.
Why do we want immortal call lvl 3? Does the required amount of endurance charges increase with level and since we only have 3 we have to keep it at that level?

i really wonder if i should push for 6L carcass first or keep going with 5L carcass and farm for dual void batteries, since you cant use 1 void battery and 1 divinarius, what should i pick for the secondary weapon while farming for second void battery?
Im lvl 71 using this build with the divinarius. I want to know how to escalate damage. Do I need flat physical on items?, gain % of physical damage as # damage? some more crit multi?. Is a stactic dagger or wand better option than divinarius and or void battery?
hey how do you have always blade vortex on 6+ charges? like you spam it or its an item? but if i spam it on any way possible it always comes down to 0 or 1
like everytime...an awesome build! but one lil information...the lochtonial caress iron gauntlest aren't for lvl 1 im sure they changed the requiremtens..its now for lvl 25.
No, they have no level requirement. I bet your problem is that they are enchanted. A lot (all?) of enchants have a level requirement. I've made that mistake before :)

No, wording is very important in this game. Less vs. Reduced and More vs Increased. Just check your character stats to see your crit with and without ContDest. The More multiplier is tooooo much damage to pass up, for only a little crit loss. You'll have no problem getting enough crit.
Hi, would You consider adding a tab "quality gem priorities"? For instance "1st try to find flicker strike 20%, then ... ". Sometimes we're looking for a gem that doesn't require any quality ;p Even without it Your builds are awesome, that's only a proposition ;p
didn't play for a while, in the gameplay section it seems as though you're using just one aura, and vaal blade vortex. Just a bit confused as it differs with the used skills in the video, or maybe I dont get it. Anyways fun build, 69 now with 2 divinarius so far, easy to go, love it ;) thank you

I used clarity and had two mana potions when leveling. Lvl 50 now and I use blasphemy with assassins mark. Heals me and gives me all the mana I need. Use movement speed and keep moving.

Can I replace Power Charge on Critical strike with Increased Duration, which would improve the quality of life for mapping? Or should I replace something other than Increase AoE (Quality of Life), that I would lose less damage?
Bro, Power Charge on Critical grants 4% more damage per Power Charge, this build uses 9 Power Charges so you are going to lose a lot of damage there :/
Try not using Herald of Ice for a while. Also keep in mind that your 6-links in causing a substantial increase in mana cost. Also, link 3-Enlighten as soon as possible for comfortable mana to cast.
Why do u use power charge on crit in your main links? U're an assassin so u're always generating power charges. An actuall support gem would increase your damage by like 30% min!
Incredible Shark with the darkness it shouldn’t be a pretty good idea i think , flicker can move you to shit place , anyway it need some uniques so ain’t a good starter . Pretty sure it wasn’t nerf or anything on the patch note so you can use it with another char as well

try to get some +30 strength point on your skill tree. after you get enough strength on your equipment(ex:amulet,rings), refund it.

Try to get gloves, helm, ring, belt, and amulet with high life and decent resistances. Save vaal grace for the fight

You can replace it with Inc. Duration. You will have Power Charges up all the time anyway. With Inc. Dur. it will feel more comfortable :)

there are some duration clusters on the skill tree available, if you need them

Best build in first 60 level it will be hard to build but get level 70 its best build i have ever tryed killed izaro act 4 in 10 sec
after i equip the mandatory ring at lvl 38 and activate the 3 auras i get no mana left to cast spells lol what i did wrong lol help
