Eating at Darrell's Diner in Wildwood, Florida | Breakfast & Lunch Options Near The Villages, FL

- In today's video, we head to Wildwood, Florida to eat at a diner we have passed by several times. The diner is called Darrell's Dog Gone Good Diner. Every time we have driven by it, it is always packed. When we got there, there was a wait to get seated. It was kind of unusual though, as it wasn't the traditional way of sitting down. Once a table cleared, the next person in line just went and sat down. After we got seated, some of us ordered lunch and some of us ordered breakfast. Overall, there were some really good items and there were not-so-really good items. The grilled ham and cheese was amazing and the cheese omelet was amazing! Both stinkin' good and would get again. However, the worst thing we had was the potato salad. Would not get it again. Some of us would go back and give it another try, some of us would not go back. However, the staff was very friendly and they were working hard! They have several locations throughout FL as well.

I always loved Darrell's. Eaten at at leasy 12 of them. Then they started charging a credit card fee. I've never been back.
Yeah we have noticed a lot of restaurants charging that fee. Hopefully not all restaurants will do it!

Ate at Darrells on 466 yesterday. Server was great but overworked. Food was bland and mass produced by Sysco or some other supplier. Won't go back unless it's the only place open.

My husband and I ate their a few weeks ago and we did not care for the quality of the food. The service was okay but the place did it seem very clean. We would not go back.

We like Darrell's at Pinellas Plaza or on 301. The one in Pinellas also has a few outside tables.

I've eaten at Darrell's Diner, once a few years ago and once again a few weeks ago and I won't be going back. Luckily there is a diner that is far better than Darrell's, night and day. If I had a dog it won't be eating at Darrell's. There are some many Darrell's in Ocala it's disgusting.

Starting to nickel and dime you the death! The servers are excellent! The management needs some work.

I stopped in today to eat lunch at Darrell’s Diner In The Villages and it was not good. I tried there Patty Melt and it was terrible I asked for the meat to be cooked medium and it was undercooked the French fries were not crispy. TooJays is the best Patty melt I have had here. I will not be back. I went in at 2:20 and it was pretty empty

Food looks great. Your grilled ham and cheese especially. Have 0 love for terrible potato salad. Potato salad requires attention and love to earn the thumbs up. Lol. I would have sent it back and went with the onion rings to try. Great video thanks for sharing.

My favorite restaurant was "Aunt Fanny's" Darrell's bought them out, fired all the staff, shortened the hours. Shrank the portion sizes, and the food doesn't taste as good. I don't like Darrell's.
