I recently bought KZ ZSN Pro 2, I'm quite enjoying it now, listening to different genres of music, exploring it to it's fullest. I liked it overall but felt it was lacking some bass to my taste or were not that warm sounding and found little sibilant to my ears. Now I'm looking for an upgrade in the range of 3k - 5k Considering the fact that the Truthear x Crinacle - ZERO:RED comes with an Impedance adapter which boosts up the low end a bit. Would it be a considerable upgrade to Red according to the tuning I like which I explained above or should I go with the Delci?
@@PaulsPOV if I had to choose one among these which has that good enough bass and also little rolled-off treble, which one would be better? Also when can we expect your review on Red?
The Delci is a very safe set to go for, for your taste. I do like the EW300 but it's not warm sounding like the Delci. I have no immediate plans of reviewing the Red.
For technicalities, it's superior, but I like both for different genres of music. Depending on your taste, it'll vary. Have a look at my review of the EW300 if you haven't. I've broken it down there.
It's all about playing around with the provided ear tips. Keep in mind that just because one ear uses a certain size doesn't mean the other ear will be the same size. Some people use large eartips on one side and small on the other. Only once you get the right ear tip size will you get a proper seal, which leads to lesser noise bleeding in and lesser air bleeding out. This is bound to help with better sounding audio.
Hi paul I hope you are doing great. I need a recommendation from you. Can you please suggest an IEM for me under 7k? My purpose is solely for music, and this will be my first IEM. Also, I have purchased the Yamaha E7B based on your recommendation in past. Please guide
I really like how these Kefine Delci IEMs sound! The few other IEMs I've heard are mostly in the 2K price range and can be a little too bright. This set has a nice warm presentation. Only issue is, it's not available right now on HeadphoneZone. I think the stock is coming in a little later. Consider picking up a DAC as well. Have a look at my comparison between the iFi Go Link and ddHifi DAC to see which one you'd prefer.
@@PaulsPOV Can I go with the Sigmot EA 500 LM at the price of 7k? I have confirmed with the Headphone Zone team that it will take almost a month for the Kefine Delci to be available. Please guide should I wait for it?
The Simgot is a niceset, no doubt, but I did find it to be a little too treble happy. Overall, tuning wise for music, I lean more toward the Kefine Delci.
Hey Paul! I was about to buy the Oppo Enco Air Pro 3, but then I discovered IEMs that might offer similar or better quality at a lower price. My requirements are: - Good mic quality for calling - Balanced sound (not bass-boosted) - Clear female vocals (though it's not a priority) - Suitable for casual gaming with dialogue heavy and background music Can you suggest an IEM that you would pick over Oppo Enco Air Pro 3 in terms for calling and casual media consumption, at a lower price? Thanks!
Have a look at my reviews on the KZ ZSN ProX, Tangzu Wan'er, Simgot EW200, and FiiO JD1. None of them have a big bloated bass like wireless earphones. It's a tighter and better structured bass response. It's worthwhile picking up a portable DAC/Amp. Have a look at my comparison between the ddHiFi Hi-Res DAC and the iFi Go Link.
I have Simgot EA500LM, I want to upgrade them and I was looking for maybe my for the Kefine Delci, or this AE, is it too much the difference of sounds from the Simgots I have? I also want to buy my first planars, I saw the Artti 10, What suggestion could you give me? I use the Simgot with a FiiO KA13 Dac, Thanks.
I do prefer the Kefine Delci over the 500LM since it's much warmer in its tuning and doesn't have the upper mid and high range tweak like the 500LM. Artti 10, I'm going to be reviewing soon, hopefully, so my review should be able to give you better clarity once my review is live than I can right now.
Hi your review is Awsome , i am using Iem kzs10 pro with ddhifi dac , it will be good to upgrade from kz10 spro to truth ear crinnacle red Or truth ear hexa or moonroch chew 2, please suggest waiting for your response
I haven't tested the few IEMs you've mentioned but have heard the KZ ZS10 Pro briefly and quite liked it. I wouldn't say the Kefine will be an "upgrade" from it since the KZ is a good performer. It will have a slightly different characteristic than anything else. If you're looking for an upgrade, it'll cost more. Consider watching my review on the Simgot SuperMix 4.
I think the Simgot EM6L is a great set if you like softer highs. I haven't tested too many IEMs in this price range, so I'm working on expanding my reviews in that price range. But yea, if you can stretch, the Simgot SuperMix4 goes for about 13k and has been compared to IEMs twice the price in some reviews. I think it's a very good pair to own and enjoy.
I really like the Simgot EW200 for overall clarity. It's a lovely set to listen to, and I quite enjoyed it while writing my script for review. The Kefine Delci isn't as crisp for detail. It's got good detail recovery but isn't as sharp, which is quite like. Bass wise, the EW200 is nowhere close to the Kefine Delci. Both are enjoyable sets to listen to with different "flavours" in sound. Feel free to give my review of the Simgot EW200 a look if you haven't already.
@@PaulsPOV 🥲 i found simgot to be a little underwhelming in separation aspects and looking for something better , unfortunately my pocket is also not supporting me 😂 , so looking for some exchange of iem with better separations
It's an alright performer for separation, but somehow, it's not the best set of IEMs I've heard from Simgot. It's nice and all, but yea, seems confused. A lot of folk don't like how they've tried to boost those higher frequencies to give it the illusion of having better detail, and it's timbre isn't quite as true as it should be. It's not for everyone. I'm still expanding into reviewing more IEMs in this range, so I can't really recommend much. But the Delci isn't the sharpest sounding when it comes to detail recovery. I quite like how they've tuned it though.
@@PaulsPOV yeah , i really am enjoying the 7hz x crinacle salnotes zero 2 more than the simgot , i love the subtleness zero 2 offers which feels very light on my ears , and the rumbling bass and it seems great , the simgot’s great but , not what i want , Anyways thanks for the reply paul.
I have no idea what you're talking about here 😂 I've heard good things about the Salnotes Zero2 but haven't had a chance to review it yet. At the end of the day, it's all about finding happiness through your music. If the salnotes do it for you more than the Simgot does, it's terrific you've had the chance to spend the time to find and realise it. A lot of people don't make the time or out in the effort to find the sound they're looking for.
Sup Bro ,,, i wanna switch over to iems for pure competitive gaming,,, i am currently using hyperx cloud 2 ,,,, can you pls tell which one is the best between these two - 1. Simgot EM6l or 2. Myer Audio CKLVX D41,,,, I need a pure competitive iem just to listen footsteps in valorant and 3d imaging. pls help
I haven't tested the Myer Audio, so I don't want to give you any wrong information about it, but the EM6L I have used for gaming and I wouldn't recommend it if you need footsteps to come through very cleanly. It's softer in that frequency range, so I don't think placement of movement will be too accurate for you in a competitive environment. I'd say the Simgot EA1000 is better suited for this.
I prefer the KZ ZSN ProX. The JD1 can be a little sharp in the highs for me with some genres of music. The KZ microphone isn't as good though. Feel free to watch my review on it if you haven't already.

I know they are an older set, but I hope you get a chance to compare it to truth ear hexa 🤞😁. Nice review btw.
These have more energy than hexa while hexa may handle busy sections a little better and sound a bit more analytical and neutral
