You should do some desk or office makeovers for fans for your channel (think like Justin Tse does) to hit on your interior design passion, and then possibly write off any purchases you have to make

What fundamentals do I need to start learning UI/UX?
To be honest I don't think there are any. When I was learning, I did a mix of anything and everything. It is just a matter of learning as you make.
