I love how you got the whole family plus pet in the whole thing. And you make the whole process fun! I made the first hat out of mixed color yarn and I wrote down every step cause the next one I am gonna do when I finish typing this will have strips in it! Love the loom tutorials! I've had various round, rectangle, and square looms for years, but using patterns drove me mad! Eventually, I just stored the looms in my cabinet. Now I think its time for me to bring them back out. This is so much easier for me to watch and learn...

I Abosolutely love this style of hats especially for the winter!!, i just figured out that if u use the shell of a ball point pen to help string the yarn around each peg it makes the work go sooo much faster i am about to finish my very first hat using your design!! and i did this in an hour!! amazing right???! thank u so much and i look forward to the new hat ideas!!

I just finished my hat!!! The pom-pom gave me the most trouble. It was either too big or not enough yarn. But after a few tries I got the pom-pom to be just the right fit. Thanks for the video. :)

Just wanted to let you know that I had used your pattern to make our son a Seahawks colored floppy hat which he loves to death. I used lime green and navy blue for the blue and the brim and then grey for the other rows. I also left off the bottom two rows but the hat is awesome. Thanks so much for sharing it.

@@carolrowland5785 it doesn't decrease in circumference. Once you cinch the end, it just looks like it gets narrower, but the amount of stitches are still there.

Friendly Tip for All Loom Knitters:
If you were to take an empty pen barrel and thread your yarn through, wrapping pegs would be so much faster. 😊

I just finished my hat!!!
The pom-pom gave me the most trouble. It was either too big or not enough yarn. But after a few tries I got the pom-pom to be just the right fit.

I LOVE this video......and not just because your cat looks exactly like one we had :-) Even though I've been looming for about a year and a half, I still found this informative and fun......AND I learned a new and easy way to make pompoms! I'm saving it and will share it with my "new loomer" friends who need clear instructions! Might even make these hats for next Christmas and also want to make the little snowman! Thanks!
Just wanted to let you know that I had used your pattern to make our son a Seahawks colored floppy hat which he loves to death. I used lime green and navy blue for the blue and the brim and then grey for the other rows. I also left off the bottom two rows but the hat is awesome. Thanks so much for sharing it.

Love this! I am currently working on one for a Christmas present... could you tell me how it is getting smaller and smaller as you do not seem to be decreasing? I am wanting to make it a lot longer and I am new to looing so I have no idea how to decrease...

She didn't decrease in pegs, only in rows. The size is the same.
@@anafraud So by decreasing in rows it makes it smaller in circumference. Not sure how this works.
@@carolrowland5785 it doesn't decrease in circumference. Once you cinch the end, it just looks like it gets narrower, but the amount of stitches are still there.
