You let the verse flow, then go back to analyse, great way of doing it. You did well catching the bars too and sometimes give yourself a hard time over not being that type of channel. In the cover story for Complex, they said the way he made the album, would make Christopher Nolan tip his hat. Nolan made the movies Inception (about a dream inside of a dream), Interstellar (where they have to find clues to figure out what's going on) and Tenet (about a former CIA agent, who is tasked with tracing the origin of objects that are traveling backwards through time). People like to say the reverse theory is crazy, I don't think Em does anything by mistake anymore.

If that is a canabis line and it was intentional it probably has something to do with paying homage and amending past beefs like he does in guilty conscious. Knowing em he probably loved his raps like he does with most rappers and it would not surprise me if he only went at him because canabis went at him first, which is usually the case lol. In another timeline he probably would have featured with em. Same with mgk and any other idiot that chose to start shit for no reason. From what i have heard and seen of em as a person, he is literally a chill and humble guy who geeks out over hip hop in all its forms. Which is one of the reasons why i dont think he has ever started something with another rapper. If you look at all his shots at rappers they always started that shit. The only thins em started were the pop artists digs which werent really disses and just pop culture shit that rhymed with whatever he was going for with his verse at the time.

I thought it was to emphasise the point that back in the day no one used the words thats gay as a derogatory slant at gay people. It was a way of taking jabs at straight people, not that being gay was bad, but its because you arent gay and being called gay is what makes it a jab. Its the same as calling a man a little girl as an insult, no one is insulting little girls by saying that but if you call a grown man a little girl its an insult. So its a play on that whole thing and then doubling down with letting them know being gay is fine but saying it in such a way that it sounds shocking even though its factual lol. Guys smart af imo.
