This soundbar is awesome! Especially for an apartment. Nice and heavy, great bass and equalizer also. I would pay $500 for this soundbar but it 's sold for $150 at Walmart. Better than sonos or bose or any other 7.1 expensive system in my opinion. Pairs beautifully with my Sony Bravia tv.

This soundbar is amazing. Just got mine. Don't worry if you only have 2 HDMI inputs in your TV (I have cable and playstion). I connected my playstation into the soundbar. You really want to use that HDMI arc input on TV for soundbar, if you can.

Depends on your TV. You may need to go to your TV's audio setting and change the sound output. If not, make sure your TV is switched into the output that your sound bar is connected to, such as the right HDMI port, because your TV might have multiple HDMI ports. Also, make sure your sound bar is on the right connected output (if it's connected to Bluetooth, make sure it's on Bluetooth or whichever form of connection that you are using). I hope that helps.
I had it in my small bedroom and returned it. It hurt my ears had to turn the treble to as low as it would go and bass near the low. 98 decibels too much for my room. It was too big for my 40 in tv. I got something cheaper and smaller with less decibels that doesn't hurt my ears anymore.

I'm sorry that you are having issues with yours. I've had mine since I believe January, and I haven't experienced any issues yet. I can see, if it's not in a ventilated area, it could possibly get hot or another electronic device such as your TV might be generating the heat. I'm just guessing. As far as connection, I don't see any reason why it is connected to your tv via the optical port and the HDMI Arc. One connection is all you need. I hope that helps.
I am trying to figure out which one to buy as well. I went to best buy today and the guy told me this Vizio V-series 2.1 or the Samsung HW-Q600B 3.1.2ch Soundbar are the best for the price. I listened to many of them in the store today. Vizio, Sonos, and that Samsung one he pointed out sound the best. I am still looking examples of the Vizio "all-in-one" bar. Yes. HDMI ARC, is just one of the options. You still have all the other different options of connecting it to your TV such as regular HDMI, optical, Bluetooth.
We just got this today, how do we stop it from kicking on all the time? I don’t like to have it on for tv shows, just music or movies.. but it keeps turning on when I’m watching tv..
You might have to remove it as your primary audio source from your TV settings. If it's connected to the TV via Bluetooth than you will need to turn the Bluetooth off from the TV when you don't need it to connect. I hope that helps.
I have a vizio m-series, and I hate the fact that the volume display can NOT be removed. If I buy this sound bar can I still control the volume without displaying on the TV?
Anyone else have a problem with random audio being played from someone else…. I’m connected through aux with my monitor and no matter what whoever has Bluetooth around can connect to my speaker…. Any solutions
When listening to music thru Bluetooth the speaker sounds great and gets really loud. But watching with TV it doesn't get nearly as loud. Is there a setting I need to change?
That's unfortunate because I have not had any issues with mine since I bought it. Maybe you should try connecting to a different bluetooth and see what happens.
The flat bottom of the soundbar will lay against your wall. It will still sound good that way even though most of the drivers will be pointing downwards.
To get the best sound quality it is preferred that you use HDMI ARC or HDMI, if your television have those ports because they allow higher resolution sound . The optical port is your next best option. I hope that helps.
Anyone know how the hell to turn off the voice that reads the input out loud????? It almost gave my son a heart attack last night at 4am when the lights went out and came back on, the voice made my 5 month old cry horribly

Not at all. Mine is connected to the TV via the optical port and no delays at all. Are you connected via wired or bluetooth because with any wireless connection, anything is possible. Lol
@@daprince27studio it's connected via hdmi arc. I notice there is a slight audio lip sync delay when watching OTA (antenna) tv, but the sound is amazing for the price.

@Chris Johnson it was just happening with Tubi when I first got it. Doesn't do it anymore. Every now and then I will have minor lip sync issues when I watch one of the channels on antenna TV. But it's not that noticeable. Still a fantastic sound bar!

Cool. I am going to buy one today. I thought of Samsung's q600 but I can't afford that. Do you think that the DTSX virtual feature really stands out? Is their at least an object effect? I do not have high expectations or anything. I am just hoping that this is at least a step up from a regular 2.1 system. I am also buying this because I really do not want a seperate subwoofer and want something compact.

I have the previous version of this soundbar and it sounds great. Good decent bass as long as you don't expect it to shake the pictures off your wall. The dts sound effects are surprisingly good as long as you don't have walls to the side more than 10 feet away.
Thanks for the comment. It will easily upgrade your TV sound regardless of the size of the TV, because TV's now focus more on thinness than sound quality. This soundbar gets very loud and keep the sounds clean and clear. Hope that answered your question.
I have not noticed any lag because my is connected via the optical port to the TV. I can't say but from experience, whenever you connect something via Bluetooth, there's always a possibility. I hope that answered your question, if not please let me know. Thanks
Hi! The easiest way is to connect the HDMI from the back of the sound bar to the HDMI port of your TV. You might have to go to your TV sound or audio setting and choose external speaker as your sound source. Hope that helps.

I do have multiple HDMI ports I did switch to the arc ports and messed with the settings gotta be something I am missing

You can use your own remote because I use my google chromecast remote to control it.
We got the All in one soundbar and it's awesome. How can I block my neighbors from connecting to my soundbar?
HDMI arc causes me to lose my hdmi 2.1 connectivity, and the Optical causes me to use 2 remotes. Damned either way.....
Use it via the optical cord. If you need hdmi 2.1 this was never going to work for you

My tv doesn't have HDMI Arc, just plain HDMI. Will this work?

So did ur remote come with a small LCD screen? I've seen other review videos where it didn't have a screen on the remote.
It did come with the screen. There's an older model that doesn't have the remote with the screen.
Buy the Elevate. or Atmos soundbar. This basic one comes with a basic remote.
Only the M21d-H8(R ) has the screen.

There is also a V series. Which is better?
V series has a dedicated subwoofer and surround speakers. I think V series is better but takes more room too
The M series is considered a step up in the Vizio line.

I haven't come across that problem when using mine. The sound is loud enough when playing music and TV. Maybe your TV volume is set lower.

It does come with its own wall brackets, and I have seen cheap specialized brackets on Amazon that allows you to mount from the tv mount.
Just got mine and sounds great, but when I connect to my phone via Bluetooth it goes mute then continues playing

The dts sound effects are surprisingly good as long as you don't have walls to the side more than 10 feet away.
Could this be used for a 65 inch man?
Thanks for the comment. It will easily upgrade your TV sound regardless of the size of the TV, because TV's now focus more on thinness than sound quality. This soundbar gets very loud and keep the sounds clean and clear. Hope that answered your question.

I have not noticed any lag because my is connected via the optical port to the TV. I can't say but from experience, whenever you connect something via Bluetooth, there's always a possibility. I hope that answered your question, if not please let me know. Thanks

Hi! The easiest way is to connect the HDMI from the back of the sound bar to the HDMI port of your TV. You might have to go to your TV sound or audio setting and choose external speaker as your sound source. Hope that helps.
What about the remote? I’d plug through thr ARC HDMI. Would still be able to control volume w my tv remote? Thanks! I’ve never owned a soundbar before!
Depend on your TV, you might have to change your audio source from tv speakers to external speakers (sound bar).
This soundbar is not compatible with the hdmi arc on my samsung 43 inch tv. Why???
Thanks for the comment! I'm not sure why it's not compatible with your Samsung TV because it does say compatible and has a dedicated HDMI port. I have mine connected to my older Samsung 50 inch through the optical port.

Did you have the HDMI 2.1 cable I am pretty sure the one that came with is not a 2.1. Look into it as I have read it on multiple reviews of soundbars.

frick, I lost my remote and cant' seem to figure it out without having the original remote.
Your TV remote may hook up to it, otherwise you'll have to adjust with the touch controls on the right side of the unit.
Skip this soundbar and get the Vizio V51-H6 which is light years better.
