I have watched several of these 'Views Of The Vale' videos. The care and skill and research that has gone into making them is obvious and much appreciated.
How must that make you feel when your home is accurately included in a model railway village, the rise and fall of the land, the layout the farm and other houses, simply fascinating!!
Thank you for watching @toucan221. So many residents of the area showcased in our Vale of White Horse diorama, have been amazed to see their own little piece of the Vale recreated in miniature for us all to enjoy.
@@PendonMuseumVideos I enjoy them all. Passed on the video to my daughter and partner who spend time in the area walking the dog. Recommended a museum visit also. He is a quality modeller.
We are very happy to know that you enjoyed this episode Michael. Do please watch the others and do please come and see us again soon. We look forward to welcoming you back to the museum.
Astonishing how people in the old days lived in harmony with their environment and all was in a natural proportion. The destruction rage of the sixties only left deep wounds leading up to a toxic modern society, alienated from a natural way of life, gone forever. Thanks for showing us the reality of yesterday vs today. Happily there are some "old buildings" in the landscape left to admire as you show in this fascinating video ! Most enjoyable - thanks ! Kind regards, Filip
Filip; we always look forward to receiving your comments and observations. We are very pleased this episode has helped explain the differences between the past and the present and you will see this theme continue in the soon to be published episodes of this limited series.
