I've been going back and forth between this bag and the 20L backpack. I think I'm now leaning towards this, thanks for the vid. Only thing is I wish it had a place to hold a water bottle. I have a 5.11 sling about the same size that does have place for the water bottle.
I bought a Vertx Commuter just before this came out. I carry a Raider, and while a Vertx Transit fits it perfectly, I wanted a little more room for some med stuff and the kids' crap. The sling option is new to me being that I carried and loved using a Drago Gear Assault pack. I really wish that company was still around. It's probably the most durable backpack I have ever owned. 8 years of daily use, and it barely looks used.
I really wanted to love this bag but i find the strap extremely uncomfortable. The strap is not long enough in the padded part of the strap when it is on your back and rubs on your shoulder. If it was longer, it would work much better. This bag is very well made and a cool idea. I love the CCW compartment and size but the bag really does not work when you need to get out your keys of wallet while you have it on your front- it does not work because of the orientation of the pockets etc. Too bad because it looks great but does not work for me.
@@EDC-evolution hmm got you . Everyone is different of course. For me it works well and I have no issues but it’s good to get your perspective on it . I find bags are always this way work great for some and for others it just doesn’t work .
@@digitalpunk5365 oh I understand what you’re saying now so you carry both ways at the same time . Listen to each there own . I personally carry one pistol and would do work that way . Cause in my state you can’t carry a holdup rifle but if I could I would !
Just because its small doesn't make it good. Everytime i look at Vertx bags i puke in my mouth a bit. I get these are probably the best conceal carry bags but for people who don't...look elsewhere. Id get an ogio bag before i get a Vertx
@@jcap8391 hey there is many options out there for sure . Like I said my gamut I have had for 10 years of alot of abuse and it’s held up like new . So to me I trust there bags. But there is tons of bag companies for sure . But for $125 this is a nice 10L sling bag to me . Stay safe brother
I was torn between this bag and the Eberlestock Fade Sling. After this review, I went with the Vertx Ghost Sling. Thanks for the thorough review.
@@Frezn8t_100 awesome man yeah the Eberlestock is really nice too. But i am really digging the ghost sling glad you like it too. Stay safe brother
Agreed… I have several Vertx bags… they are great… use for traveling too. Great video brother!
@@jerrydelatorre5977 thanks for the support brother . Merry Christmas
I just ordered a Gamut…….looks like an Urban ghost sling is next. Awesome review, definitely deserves a sub.
@@Byrd819 the gamut is amazing pack !!! I have had mine for about 10 years. Still looks new !
Thank you so much i finally found the perfect sling bag for my EDC great video ❤❤❤❤

@@CalimonShade that elastic pouch can definitely hold a water bottle
@@BoriquaTactical Didn't think about that. I will probably get both. There are times I need more storage depending on the trip. Thanks again :)

Just ordered this and whoa there's Carlos! Where you been bro
@@mark4jets yeah man great bag it is . lol who is this ?
Can’t wait for mine to arrive
@@danieldy6632 nice let me know what you think
I hope they come out with another larger size.
@@meee175 larger then this one you mean ? Cause they make a 20L version of it
@@BoriquaTactical 20L sling? Or backpack?
@@meee175 it’s a backpack but same look. This has a good amount of size . But they have other models that might fit your needs. Also
Look into the Transit Sling from Vertx. It’s prolly the next larger sling they make. Then even larger is the Commuter sling.
@@johnnygee_1991 what he said . lol thanks brother
Love it. They need a Green color option
@@boxerdad214 haha I agree . The brown is also nice color .
The body armor panel is under the laptop sleeve on the inside.
@@ZeldaVStheworld yes you are correct I said it wrong in the video . My bad .
Does it have a grab handle?

Sounds kinda silly but I carry appendix and off body
