Z5a, WI my tomatoes took a hit because of too much rain at a critical growth phase and they stunted and the late blight showed up 3 weeks early. Rust on hollyhocks like I’ve never had before and vines did not want to climb. It’s been too wet and some things didn’t mind and it waters flavors down. Yes, weeds are doing well. It was easier to grow in severe drought last year and we had less wildlife pressure which is odd. Hope to get enough tomatoes to preserve.

I ordered the purple tomato seeds and am picking bunches now.
slice okra and freeze it for gumbo in winter. It will also help thicken chili. You could pickle tiny okra.

Try tomatoes cooked with your okra. Not only delicious, but the acid cuts the mucilage.
