3 months working my way through this setup and I have about 150k. I own a tractor, trailer, mower, baker, spreader. Doing contracts during my die time. Right now doing harvests with borrowed equipment.

@@Dacjr314 nope, game time. Running at 5x for the most part and typically sleeping through the night. I will slow it down if I need to finished something before the end of the day.

I would try to buy and resale pallets between harvests eggs seem to be the easiest to buy and resell for a decent profit.

If you had stopped at placing your solar panels and sat back for 4 years and not planted a single seed you'd be richer than you are now.
That's a damning indictment about farming. To think spending all your income on panels instead of farming processes and equipment you'd have made three times more money in the same time frame.
I sold my building worth zero and replaced it with a large greenhouse. It fits pretty good. 🙂
Just east of the store, there is a pond, which is good for filling up water tanks for free.
You should do a 5 acre farm on American farmlands so console players can follow along with you

You normally get much more for your equipment if you bring it to the store and repair and repaint it. Even though it cost money it’s usually a net positive.

Did you make it a rule not to do contracts? Also I think you made a bad decision by buying the solar panels from the start, if you try this again I would definitely wait to spend any money on solar since it takes so long to get a return, love you videos and have been watching since fs19 keep it up, p.s. love the goofy commentary!!
It takes a long time so it makes sense to buy early, but they seem to take 10 years to make the money back.

If you used the row markers on the planter you wouldn't overlap as much and you might now have 2 rows at the end
What I’ve been doing is as soon as I can afford to, I buy. I rented the tractor for 2 months and kept things well below the power level of the Deere so that I can get cheaper tractors
Doing the silage grind atm. Getting about $45k a year and I own all my equipment I need. Hoping to get a few solar panels then start expanding. Hopefully into a more of manager role😅
My suggestion would be to utilize oilseed raddish it is the cheapest way to fertilize your feilds
But that takes a growth period away, so the loss is greater than the gain. You like an entire fields crop, if you use oilseed, it only works if you have field rotation and the field is not used for a crop that two years of growth, one rested one oilseed then back to the crop growths.
One four fields like thus with intensive farming, the only way to make it profitable and its doubtful that this is, due to acreage alone, planting oilseed would decimate the finances.
Just the smallest field that withered did a dent in finances image the hit on the bigger fields, all to save a few hundred on fertiliser that does all the fields.
Oilseed is a disastrous plan.

You could do a 1 acre series on Zelonka.
Pickle spray herbicide right after you plant the crop. Make sure it is before the plant comes out of the ground. Then you will never see the weeds that year. I have done this on my world and it has worked every time.
Apparently a weeder at that time works too to prevent them

Not sure why people think leaving crop destruction on makes the game more realistic. Even with narrow tires, you have to keep the tires between the rows. A narrow tire running over a crop would destroy it as fast as a wide tire in real life.
Yes but within the game mechanics it matters. You could turn it off if you want but I’m trying to keep things harder for the series.

So me and my freund started a server like 2 years ago and we mainly made Our money by greenhouses later on we bought more farmland and the biggest cow farm them we invested All of Our time in other small buisnesses and bought another cow farm and the we bought 2 of the biggest like Methan producing Thing the one u fill with silage and slurry ion know the Word. We also made a solar farm and rn we are making like 20 mil a year
