  • In this video, we talk about the basics of cleaning and shaping of root canal treatment procedure.
    Root canal treatment is one of the most commonly performed dental treatment, which is important in order to save the tooth from ultimate extraction. There are many reasons why root canal treatment is performed such as most commonly patient presenting with irreversible pulpitis, moreover, there is pulp necrosis, acute and chronic periapical abscess.
    To perform optimal root canal treatment/pulpectomy, cleaning and shaping are the two important steps in the procedure that should be properly performed because the survival of the endodontically treated tooth depends on these vital steps. The final step of root canal treatment in obturation and restoration of the tooth.

    Correction:
    We use H- files in Filling motion not k- files

      Perforation is when the intact walls of the tooth is not present by forceful action of instruments. There is a through and through defect.
