A load of different sites/magazines/newspapers will send a journalist each to an event where they get to interview the cast, then they publish it on their medium, so more people find out about the movie. Goldblum is the perfect example of why people should appreciate "artists". Most actors are different, you have to figure out the whys and hows of how and why they got into the business. Goldblum...he's an artist....you don't have to wonder a damn thing.

There's certainly grievances to be had with pushing agendas and over-emphasising these things, but in this interview it didn't feel out of place and was fairly appropriate.
because it's probably frustrating if she's casted because of her skin, not bc she's the best person for the job. And i agree with her. Strong women didn't need to play the victim and said she's been marginalized, but try do thrive despite the obstacles. That's a feminism i can happily support.

There were so few that they had to settle for background roles that were beneath their talents, only a few years back,Tessa included. There was never a time she got a role worthy of her *because* of her skin, only the early career background tokens, like what's lampooned in Not Another American Teen Movie with Chris Evans. So, mentioning the specifics of her playing Val and the fact that it's not stereotypical is underlining that point.
Valkyrie is not really a major iconic character because there are many of them so it can be played by any woman. Sad the Hulk movies are the bundled Avengers and Thor movie
I loved it. I was tired of him being a rage machine with no personality traits beyond "pissed". Here he enjoys admiration, makes friends, wants friends, notices when Chris Odinson 😉 is sad etc. This was a good progression towards Professor hulk
Ugh... With all due respect to the ever-beatiful Tessa, this take on the Valkyrie isn't anything like the comics. And no, not for the reasons you who is reading this thinks. They both are extremely beautiful women, and that's good enough for me. The real reason is that this character in the movie is portrayed as a drunken slob who sells slaves for money and booze and does not care anymore for Asgard or its people. That's not who Brunhilde is in the comics. She's supposed to be in personality kind of like Eowin from LOTR. A bit naive shield-maiden, but who's braver than all and will protect her home no matter what.
