An interesting video and testing of all 3 Westclox Smoke Alarms from 1978.

Hey everyone, well here is an interesting video and testing of all 3 Westclox Smoke Alarms from 1978. All battery powered units but the big square (model 83079) one originally required a 12.6 Volt battery that is no longer made so I hooked it up to a 12.6 adapter Li-ion charger. It works very well now. It came with its original box but no instruction manual. The smaller brown one is basically the travel version of this alarm which makes the same sound but not as loud. It came with a black travel case and a yellowed slightly ripped instruction manual and runs on a 9 volt battery. The last one is the Westclox Portable smoke alarm which came with a cool purple travel bag. It makes a pulsing squealer sound. It also runs on a 9 volt battery. Very cool alarms for sure!!!!
