Very well presented car. In my youth, these were considered a old mans car! (but i imagine they could blow the doors off of a lots of young whipper snappers cars. As I get older, I would love to get my hands on one of these especially since it has the buckets and console shift. Maybe not the coolest car around, but fairly fast for its time.

Wow - if this was your “dream car” you’d be hard-pressed to find a better vehicle to restore! Hardly a trace of corrosion, all the bits and pieces are present - all it needs is about a year of love (and a healthy pile of mad money in your checking account) and you’d be back on the road in short order with a lovely example of American automotive history!

Steve , &/Teams: thanks, good quick look! Interestingly, one wonders what happened to this 300 L.? Looks to be a good project *& restorations, even , WITH :no Manuel TRANSMISSION , power Windows, etc. Oddly, a Special Chrysler: remembering my Grandparents ‘ last new Car was a 1963 NewYorker in all that’s” Baby Blue” color, PUSH Button,NO AIR CONDITIONING…..also, as I picked up a low Miles 1966*GALAXIE500 XL/4/Speed/ Burgandy / Black Deluxe interiors/352/4/ Dual Exhaust from same dealer ((* MANUEL WERE NOT DESIRABLE,) in 1967, etc……….oddly, pretty good drive after a few after-market upgrades, etc.

a neighbor had 1 of these in silver with a black vinyl top . was always parked on the street in N W Chicago . I still remember the day a druggie girl passed out in her 70 Torino and ran into the back of it floored . Pushed it 3 hoses up the street . Totalled her car and got her head jammed between the steering wheel and windshield pillar . The only damage to the Chrysler were scratches to the bumper and paint along with the fuel door being busted into pieces . those things were tanks . I think of it when i see that phony safety groups 59 Chevy stunt . They used a car with a known weak frame. 1 of these early 60s Mopars versus the current 300 or charger would leave the current model flattened or compressed .

Great story, hope Druggie Girl survived and cleaned up her act.
