- Devotees flocked in large numbers to His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s hotel in New York City to circumambulate at all hours. The Tibetan spiritual leader, who underwent knee surgery in the city, has temporarily taken shelter at Park Hyatt. Devotees turn up in large numbers to pray and circumambulate before he leaves his New York hotel for a more commodious place to aid in his recovery in the coming days.

I still remember an event in Minneapolis many years ago, His Holiness was not yet in the building but one could feel his presence approaching the venue. @@GenghistopG If the rest of us keep giving rewards to the "me first" people, we will get more and more of them. I read once that in ancient China if a meritorious act was performed by a person, that person's parents received a reward.
