The is one of my fav. jump vids. I got in my 2nd practice throwout jump Sunday. I just linked this vid to a gun collection forum I belong to in order to show my friends how cool skydiving is. Thanks again for the vid.
I liked that there was no music only the experience, including the canopy ride, I wish I would have got my canopy ride on camera, that was the most enjoyable part.
You guys should go try it. Tandem jumps are pretty cheap and easy...and you can't tell the JM is back there. It does feel like you are "floating" and a bit hard to tell you are even going down. THIS IS A GREAT VID, THANKS FOR POSTING IT.
@BlinkshotProductions The sensation is totaly differant. When on a them park ride you pull 1.5-2.5 g's, that's why you get that weird feeling in your tummy. When you free fall, you are riding a cushion of air and you pull 1g the whole time. There is no sensation of "Sudden Drop" It's more or less a smooth transition and it's very gentle on your stomach. The air blasting in your face is some what gentle too. I remeber my first freefall I was siked out thinking of them park rides. Not even close.
Yes. Certain drop zones allow it. It costs about $270 to go where I had my first jump and I know they allow at least 11 yr olds, I don't know how young they go. Parents have to sign a waiver saying they agree to it.
sharks arent really a problem in HI, there are more hazardous in the coastlines of the west coast such as san fran area up to washington. FL also has sharks, but not HI. the big concern would be drowning with another person strapped to u plus getting out of the chute.
It depends. I don't think any drop zone will allow a first time jumper go to free fall unless they do AFF. The place I go will allow first time jumpers to IAD "static line" their first time but that doesn't involve free fall. Call your drop zone and ask. If any terms here are unknown, google! Call the nearest drop zone and find out what you can do. Good luck!
your actually flying your shoot, they are not like the old Military Paratrooper shoots and the only thing you have control of is the landing. The kind used for recreation as well as many Military operations use is more like a "Wing" and you can steer anywhere you want to go. Some even have a double "Ram Air" effect were you are able to fly longer as well as maneuver better. Take a look at what Military HALO jumpers use
you don't even feel like your're falling.. more like being blowed back up do it bro.... you're as likely to get hit by a truck... it's pure magic.. and once you're down.. you just wanna go back up and do it again.. :D

So that's how you shower.
