Agreed totally. This is such a killer track, and is damn heavy. Wish they would’ve released it; could’ve fit perfectly on any of the first three albums. Eddie’s solo on this song is absolutely stellar.
Haven't heard this before. Not sure why they never release it. Sounds awesome to me!!!! Harmonies, are spot-on, Eddie is awesome as usual, and Mike/Alex laying down the beat as great as they are...
Not bad. I was expecting Light Up The Sky…whoa was I surprised. This isn’t a bad song but I can tell why they never pursued it: it’s just okay. Meh VH set their standards high and this song just isn’t quite there. Cool idea though.
You’d have to imagine Ted Templeman tweaking the intro, verse and chorus if it made it to the album. Listen to the other demos of the songs used on vh1/vh2, some are heavily changed around some are not.
How was this never on an album?? One of my faves from the demo.

Van Halen was: Edward Van Halen, David Lee Roth, Alex Van Halen, Michael Anthony.
PERIOD!
Never heard this one. I like the intro......
Better than anything on ADKOT !! Sensation!!
Van Fuckin Halen !!!!

Thats intro had too much of Steve Miller Band of the Wintertime intro sound. It might be why it was not put on an album
That could have been reworked

Agreed
You must be deaf. This should have been on first album. It would have overshadowed running with the devil.

That's pure opinion and it's yours. 👌🏼
