Part of me really wanted Scar to pull a funny and, after winning Secret Life, go back to the Secret Keeper and reroll for a hard task only to instantly fail and die.
Although it was likely Pearl held back against Scar, I can’t really tell if she actually did, Scar was kinda on a rampage this season, getting the most kills during the Zombie Apocalypse, killing Etho all three times, winning multiple duels against Gem, and Having the most final kills. The man is insane

They never said otherwise (except a few throwaway lines in the chat box), so it really, really makes sense that Scott and Pearl won. It's so weird that they never said anything about it in the videos. Massive respect to Scott for the Sacrifice but they both won - that's the way I'll always see it
I love how every finale was different, both on emotional basis and storytelling basis. first is naked duel betweel allies who together been through a lot. Second is late-game style duel, armor, bows, night and just two fearsome predators. Third is a story by itself, including a dramatic sacrifice. Forth was a complete cowardly betrayel. And the fifth is a villain arc. Interesting to see what gonna happen in the sixth season, is it going to be a romantic drama where Joel will see Lizzie slowly go down on a waterstream into the void, seeing how they both can do nothing to help eachother? Is it going to be a strategic victory, or an arc of Jimmy's redemption?
I like how in the first season Grian and Scar somewhat agreed that before the duel that they’re both winners (at least in spirit) and now Scar has successfully truly won the most recent season.
Ive come to realize, out of all the life members. Scott really has the best aim and situational awareness. Hes almost always the last to die/turn yellow and he’s almost always top 5
I don't know I honestly think we are underestimating Grian in that assessment, not just to go with the most popular youtuber, but his strategies are always amazing, he's not very good at pvp but he's insane at strategizing and planning.

Pearl, Gem, Grian and Scar were PERFECT this season. Pearl and gem going on a rampage was glorious, scar villain ark was amazing, and Grian was incredible in last episode, especially when he was super close to taking down all Gem, Impulse and Smajor by himself. I think he alone, took from them pretty much as much health as everyone combined. Like, Grian took what? 49,5 health from Gem, 27 from Smajor and 22,5 from Impulse.
Actually, I counted it. Gem lost 25 heath from other members Smajor lost 21,5 to others Impulse lost 6 to others Grian did to them 99 damage combined. Other hermits did 52,5 dmg combined. INSANE
To me it sounded so sad, with the music and all it’s like the moment of realisation that he can’t make any friends anymore because he’s killed everyone as a villain. I love it

Secret Life was the first time I saw one of these and choosing between Scar and Pearl was crazy. Pearl is actually insane for summoning a warden but seeing Scar win was so amazing, especially him being so shell shocked that he didn’t even notice the zombie hitting him😭😭😭 He played great and he deserved it.
scar is the schrodinger's cat of the life series he is in a constant super-position between being one of the best players and one of the worst, with it being undeterminable until the moment he is in a life or death situation i also love how mumbo said smth like “be better at the game mate” and then he proceeds to claim victory
Can we all agree no one deserved to win secret life more than scar? After Lizzie died first, he was the only person for the rest of the series to have no allies. The dude from episodes 1 was trying to play peacefully but he kept getting tasks like Opposite Day, “make everyone hate you”, and sabotage reds. Despite that, he powered through his tasks and kept nearly dodging close losses.
For sure! I actually would say Scott’s strength is his loyalty, like how he has given many lives over the series which, along with his pvp has propelled him. He also doesn’t do dumb stuff like Joel does that causes him to die, like Scott has barely died to other people on accident.

@@Jericho4lyfengl grian and Scott were absolute beasts in the final both getting the most fearsome people on the server from like 50 hearts to like 15 which prob heavily affected the outcome of this series Scott:managed to singlehandedly get both scar and pearl from like 40/50 hearts to less than 2 rows in a bow fight and survived and was able to give his life to gem Grian:literally made gem go from 57 hearts to 5 and almost killed her while also dealing a lot of dmg to his enemies in his last stand even tho he was getting 2v1d and he did all of this when most of the server was after him

Even without being a team, they were still a deadly duo in their final episodes. Grian did a ton of damage to gem scott and impulse, which set up scar to win it because grian put up a hell of a fight in a 3v1
Im proud of scar. He usually loses a life to something stupid. Third life: he jumped straight into a ravine Last life: lost 6 lives in one episode and died by not listening to other people in the lava Double life: heard the tnt yet decided to stay there still Limited life: tried jumping in the water but hit the ground stupidly But this season he only died by other people killing him when he had low hearts. Nonetheless, i still think Martyn's win is my favourite because it describes what this life series is all about: Betrayal and chaos. And martyn's ending is perfect. It shows that the ending doesnt have to always be a final fair fight, it's a deathmatch and last one standing.
honestly, the amount of pvp skills scar has gained from 3rd life where he missed Grian 90% of the time to Secret life, where he was absolutely dominating everybody is incredible

I like how Scar played being a clumsy and annoying villain, have almost all the possibilities of losing lives so much and several people who may want a piece of him in the entire series. Yet he still won. Well played! I think Pearl might be actually serious about making Scar win after losing her mounders. Plot wise, it's actually more presentable to let him win given all the interesting things he've been through. Ofcourse I root for Pearl a lot, but I thought that she's been enjoying to play supportive role since Limited life with BigB, now with Secret Life's The Mounders and then Scar. She's definitely one of the best players to team with when you play Life Series. I want to see her teaming with Scar since their interactions tend to be both playful and wholesome, chill and also crazy given the right situation. At least based on Hermitcraft, I thought their personalities mesh well.
I honestly think Scar deserved to win Secret life. After being forced by the secret keeper to be the villain and essentially make an enemy of everyone, he deserved it. I don’t know why, but it felt so empty when Scar won… more than the other series. I don’t know if it was because it ended so abruptly, with well over half of the members dying in one episode, but instead of happiness, it felt somber. Maybe because Scar was the enemy of everyone, and was mostly alone for most of the series, and by the end he really was alone. That’s just my thoughts though
I really just want to say this, as I said for Pearl winning double life, Scar won secret life fair and square. He had a whole scarlett Pearl arc, literally. For the first half of the season he basically did everything by himself, with no allies because technicalities always ruined it😂. Only mabye in the start when others helped him with his task, but then he got the hang of it But getting back to the point, he did everything by himself, and just like Pearl in the end of double life he had to have a temporary ally. And in the end, others started fighting FOR HIM. Because they saw how dangerous he really was at that point. Yes, Pearl was most definitely easier on him because she wanted him to win, and could he have actually taken on Gem without Pearl if he killed her? Mabye not, but mabye also yes, we couldn't have known. But he still won.

It's kind of poetic that in Double life Scar was probably the closest to being Pearl's friend, then she won it as a loner And now that it's Scar who couldn't make a single friend this season, and Pearl helped him win (by being his ally second half of the finale, i mean) And the way he didn't take her sacrifice but said that they'd go out together
Now keep in mind that even though Pearl was holding back at the end, none of this would have happened if Scar didn't go on an absolute murder spree, killing everyone left and right this last session. Scar was a beast!
I thought that he would team up with Grian again since they were both loners and it was a patern: Third life: they team Last life: they don’t team Double life: they team Limited life: they don’t team Secret life: they should have teamed but didn’t :(
Funny how the end of secret life has Scar, who is the loner and causes chaos because of the secret keeper, won against Pearl, who won double life, in which she was the loner and caused chaos because of her soulmate
I am glad Gem did not win. This was her first season on, so now she has that push to win next time. If she won her first season, the next one may not be be as enjoyable from her POV.
I really respect you on how you thank everyone for the series, I was really scared for the idea that you could not make it to press the success button and die by falling damage with that half heart.
It's the same situation where Scott let Pearl win in double life. He already won, so he gave it to her If Pearl really wanted to win, she would've killed Gem herself, so Scar wouldn't get the hearts. But if we forget about that Pearl fight, Scar did extremely well this season, so the win is definitely deserved
Both can be true. He was playing quite well, but Pearl wanted him to win. Pearl has been saying from the start of Secret life that she didn't want to win, and would help her alliance members win. Pearl let Scar get the hearts from the kills, and even offered for Scar to kill her so that he'd have more hearts to beat Gem. Idk if she could've beaten him in that last 1v1 fight, but he definitely had an advantage with all the hearts he got.
I honestly think you are right, he played crazy well and had like 8 hearts left at the end and pearl seemed to be trying, maybe half-heartedly because she didn't want to win, idk.
i really do hope that Joel or Lizzie will end up winning at least one of these 😭i've been watching the two of them for almost a decade i can't help but root for them in all the life serieses. if nothing else, I AT LEAST NEED LIZZIE TO BE A FINALIST FOR ONCE!! Scar deserve to win this series, only one with no alliance from the start, being tasked to be the villain of the server constantly despite him actually wanted friends. This win feel much better than his in MCC because his win there feel a bit more carried but here, i am pretty sure he has the most final kill even before he fight Pearl.
The secret tasks were by far the best part of this season n I think the next one should be called Get a Life n have every start at 1 life n have to complete secret tasks to earn more lives

The server needed a better class of villain. And Scar gave it to them.
Scott’s pvp gameplay is so satisfying to watch, that is definitely his strength in the life series.
For sure! I actually would say Scott’s strength is his loyalty, like how he has given many lives over the series which, along with his pvp has propelled him. He also doesn’t do dumb stuff like Joel does that causes him to die, like Scott has barely died to other people on accident.

@@Jericho4lyfengl grian and Scott were absolute beasts in the final both getting the most fearsome people on the server from like 50 hearts to like 15 which prob heavily affected the outcome of this series
Scott:managed to singlehandedly get both scar and pearl from like 40/50 hearts to less than 2 rows in a bow fight and survived and was able to give his life to gem
Grian:literally made gem go from 57 hearts to 5 and almost killed her while also dealing a lot of dmg to his enemies in his last stand even tho he was getting 2v1d and he did all of this when most of the server was after him
I always wanted Scar to win one of these series especially after Grian's win in 3rd life and now he did it😊😊

Yeah I'm with you on that they are an insane duo, they were amazing in double life too.
Even without being a team, they were still a deadly duo in their final episodes. Grian did a ton of damage to gem scott and impulse, which set up scar to win it because grian put up a hell of a fight in a 3v1
i find it hilarious that earlier Scott knocked scar down that cave and later scar knocks pearl into it and she dies

Scars "how'd the guy with no friends win?" line was great
Im proud of scar. He usually loses a life to something stupid.
Third life: he jumped straight into a ravine
Last life: lost 6 lives in one episode and died by not listening to other people in the lava
Double life: heard the tnt yet decided to stay there still
Limited life: tried jumping in the water but hit the ground stupidly
But this season he only died by other people killing him when he had low hearts.
Nonetheless, i still think Martyn's win is my favourite because it describes what this life series is all about: Betrayal and chaos. And martyn's ending is perfect. It shows that the ending doesnt have to always be a final fair fight, it's a deathmatch and last one standing.
I think Scar has improved a lot. And this is now my favourite winner because he makes it so poetic and puts a message behind it

honestly, the amount of pvp skills scar has gained from 3rd life where he missed Grian 90% of the time to Secret life, where he was absolutely dominating everybody is incredible
This just reminded me there’s 3 players to always keep an eye on in these series pearl,Scott,scar all make it to the final two more then once
some members have an advantage when it comes to pvp so like it makes sense why pearl and scott keep lasting so long
pearl is prob capable in pvp but not the top half, i think shes just better at surviving in general
Pearl also having 1 Iron armor piece at her last moment in secret life, somehow secured her 2nd place.
I think also because they were really stacked, like I knew Scar would win the entire thing once I saw his enchantments

I like how Scar played being a clumsy and annoying villain, have almost all the possibilities of losing lives so much and several people who may want a piece of him in the entire series. Yet he still won. Well played!
I think Pearl might be actually serious about making Scar win after losing her mounders. Plot wise, it's actually more presentable to let him win given all the interesting things he've been through.
Ofcourse I root for Pearl a lot, but I thought that she's been enjoying to play supportive role since Limited life with BigB, now with Secret Life's The Mounders and then Scar.
She's definitely one of the best players to team with when you play Life Series. I want to see her teaming with Scar since their interactions tend to be both playful and wholesome, chill and also crazy given the right situation. At least based on Hermitcraft, I thought their personalities mesh well.

Scar winning is the most emotional win I think he worked so hard. And also the ghost of grian telling him is great
I honestly think Scar deserved to win Secret life. After being forced by the secret keeper to be the villain and essentially make an enemy of everyone, he deserved it. I don’t know why, but it felt so empty when Scar won… more than the other series. I don’t know if it was because it ended so abruptly, with well over half of the members dying in one episode, but instead of happiness, it felt somber. Maybe because Scar was the enemy of everyone, and was mostly alone for most of the series, and by the end he really was alone. That’s just my thoughts though
The limited life finale was without doubt the best
I really just want to say this, as I said for Pearl winning double life, Scar won secret life fair and square.
He had a whole scarlett Pearl arc, literally. For the first half of the season he basically did everything by himself, with no allies because technicalities always ruined it😂. Only mabye in the start when others helped him with his task, but then he got the hang of it But getting back to the point, he did everything by himself, and just like Pearl in the end of double life he had to have a temporary ally. And in the end, others started fighting FOR HIM. Because they saw how dangerous he really was at that point.
Yes, Pearl was most definitely easier on him because she wanted him to win, and could he have actually taken on Gem without Pearl if he killed her? Mabye not, but mabye also yes, we couldn't have known. But he still won.

And now that it's Scar who couldn't make a single friend this season, and Pearl helped him win (by being his ally second half of the finale, i mean)

Now keep in mind that even though Pearl was holding back at the end, none of this would have happened if Scar didn't go on an absolute murder spree, killing everyone left and right this last session. Scar was a beast!

If Pearl really wanted to win, she would've killed Gem herself, so Scar wouldn't get the hearts. But if we forget about that Pearl fight, Scar did extremely well this season, so the win is definitely deserved
Both can be true. He was playing quite well, but Pearl wanted him to win. Pearl has been saying from the start of Secret life that she didn't want to win, and would help her alliance members win. Pearl let Scar get the hearts from the kills, and even offered for Scar to kill her so that he'd have more hearts to beat Gem. Idk if she could've beaten him in that last 1v1 fight, but he definitely had an advantage with all the hearts he got.
I honestly think you are right, he played crazy well and had like 8 hearts left at the end and pearl seemed to be trying, maybe half-heartedly because she didn't want to win, idk.

realistically though i think cleo and gem are the top contenders for the next seasons. cleo usually gets really close, and gem made it impressively far even though this was her first time participating!

Scar deserve to win this series, only one with no alliance from the start, being tasked to be the villain of the server constantly despite him actually wanted friends. This win feel much better than his in MCC because his win there feel a bit more carried but here, i am pretty sure he has the most final kill even before he fight Pearl.
The secret tasks were by far the best part of this season n I think the next one should be called Get a Life n have every start at 1 life n have to complete secret tasks to earn more lives
