for people who dont know why dream has a spawn hole. dream has his bed spawned at the top of the pandoras vauld in order for dream to not break it because if he breaks it, he will spawn outside and escape

I doubt they did it in survival though, within 3-4 days the prison was just constructed out of no where

Dude that is one HELL of a prison. Starting to make me fear Awesam over Techno, like comeon. Did you see all that shit?! Its enough that its a massive obsidian redstone prison, but all that fucking lava? Makes you remember a certain potato farmer/wither skull hunter.
All you need is a pickaxe fire resistants, 12 obsidian, stealth and one flint and steel to get out, don't even need armour or weapons

It’s not in this video, but Dream said something like "they bring me food, it’s only raw potatoes tho" which makes me suspect even more that it was originally for Techno
I believe that it was originally for Techno cause Dream said in another stream that the prison was being built to hold a very powerful individual. At that time, Techno was holding Tommy so he had that and other reasons to lock him up. I honestly didn’t even think about that until you mentioned, but that’s actually crazy lmao.

I completely agree. I think that Dream is afraid of Dreamon, the Egg, and also I think he is afraid of Ranboo. He knows that in the prison the Egg cannot reach him. I don't think that it'll play out so that he intended to go to the prison, but I'm not sure that he wants to escape.

They can also block the water source, effectively lowering the defense of the prison

As great as techno is I feel like this prison is unstoppable. Once there’s security guards that are actually powerful,no ones gonna be able to save dream.
It definitly will be hard af but I feel if techno can somehow get in there with his stuff he could make a nether portal to get him out

I mean, it is possible but the chances of dream actually escaping are low-ish.
Dream helped techno by his execution so techno owes dream a favor. Dream could break his chest (of course it’ll take time) place it a few blocks under the poison thingy (I forgot the name) die, respawn and take the poison potions and use them against the guard when they come too give him food. Gather their stuff and fight against them. Leading him too breaking out. That would be one way.
Second would be with either techno alone, ranboo alone or both techno and ranboo helping dream.
Ranboo would pay a visit with techno (techno drinks a invisibility potion) techno would be sneaking with everything he and dream will need. After ranboo leaves techno goes and gives dream stuff. Techno then drinks another invisibility potion too fight the guards, keep in mind the guards would think that is dream since no one has been seen other than ranboo, but ranboo already left so. When dream leaves and techno is on half a heart. Ranboo will activate the ender pearl thingy (again I forget the names of most of the stuff) which will bring techno too the ender pearl.

If Techno helps dream escape (and this is unlikey, I think that Dream is hiding), then he'll most likely sneak in while invis or something, give Dream stuff, and use potions to get Dream out while he distracts the guards. Once Dream escapes Techno will enderpearl stasis out. Just a theory.

Okay after some thinking, the only viable way techno can bust Dream out is by "cheating".When he makes his visit ,another person must come with him totally invisible. It will be hard to pull off ,but if they manage to reach the cell ,the invis person can use a flint and steel to make a nether portal as the cell is full obsidian.

Dream after a week: aight, Imma go creative...
Alright this prison is actually inescapable. But techno still owes dream a favor (saving techno in execution), its very likely that techno will blow up the prison and free dream. Techno will be reluctant to ally with dream, but since dream has no ally/friend left, dream will do anything to get on good terms with techno or at least get his protection. Dream will stage a coup with techno to overthrow the current king, but end up restoring his own throne. This will basically be pogtopia 2.0
Techno will seek to destroy governments as always, another war will break out. Tubbo, tommy and many other will side with techno or be neutral because many players dont want to see dream returning to power again. However, dream will most likely going to have the upper hand, due to having the most resources and subordinates. This will probably result in the usage of tubbo's nukes to wreck havoc key locations of the greater dream smp to weaken them. This is my vision of the future storyline development of dream smp.

This prison is not that hard to break in to. You just need to be able to kill Sam, tnt, fire resistance and blocks. Ender pearls, water and withers will be useful.

All the intricacies of the prison would be pointless if he did it first try, so I have a feeling he’ll make ALOT of failed attempts before succeeding with a heavy cost.

I could imagine the egg taking over everything dreams just in prison happily writing and Tommy just comes gives him his stuff and asks him to help destroy the egg. Or the expected escape with dream using Punz to escape or using technos favour although it would be better to get Punz to break him out since then he still has that favour.

Basically all you need is a visitor, who goes the normal way and someone with invis and fire resistance potions. You could then swap the prisoner for the visitor, so that the guard still sees a nametag. You'd then have to swim trough the Lava and go into that room. You'd also need 1 or more withers, spawning them inside the prison could destroy enough to reach the entrance Hall, seeing as there seems to not be water between every wall. The levers in that room are enough to activate the Portal and go into the nether. Drink milk, dig out and run.
