Those people truly are hard workers, and fast! I'm so glad you found them. And yes, you can tell you've been working inside, too! Also, glad Brian has been able to help you out! I did grin, when you mentioned Princess Di's Birthday. As you know I do love the UK, as well! I'm so glad their election turned out the way it did, for them over there! I'll be rooting for you that you have the house all ready to go by Aug. 1st! As I'm sure you know, late Summer is always a good time to be selling or renting a house, since people want to get moved and settled in before school starts and cold weather begins. Hopefully, you'll meet your goal! 😊
You are zipping right along. What a great team of hard workers. Can not imagine working outside in that Texas heat. 🙀🔥 Really enjoy being along on your remodel journey. 😻
so happy you have reliable help! They seem so nice and caring. And you did remarkable job pat yourself on the back , and let’s not forget Brian! What a wonderful son! Good job Brian !❤❤ love me and Otis🐶 Massachusetts
Hi Mary please be careful when you're painting especially the ceiling I don't know how you do all the work you do if I didn't have to work you did I'd be in good shape have a great day now
Hi Mary! Oh it’s looking good over there! The dining room you are painting is going to be such a focal point! The cabinet you painted looks just beautiful, and it is all because of your fantastic talent! I think the new renters will fall in love with it! Good job, my friend! 👏👏🙌
My air conditioner went out and today is going to be 112 degrees. I'm staying in my bed room with a windows unit. New house unit is going to be over 8 thousand dollars. I may have to get a water cooler very darn soon for the rest of the house and my fur baby's.
I'm so sorry to hear this Brenda. The a/c heat unit in my rental went out too and it would be $10,000 to replace. I cannot afford that so I understand your situation. I replaced with window units. My cottage has window units.
I admire your stamina to continue to do all this work on your own! I pray your next tenant appreciates your house and all the hard work you put into it! JUST A THOUGHT.....Have you thought about maybe renting it on a month to month basis for the first year in case you get (God forbid) "not so desirable" people, or irresponsible people, you don't have to wait a year for them to leave? Talk to Brian and see what he says! Also, maybe he should meet any tenants to let them see there is a man involved in this house rental! And get a security deposit please(one month's rent), it will weed out "slackers"! You can tell me to mind my business, but everything said is with love and concern for your welfare! I hope you know that! 😊❤
well for one thing, I would never ever tell you to mind your own business. Everything you've ever said to me was done so in kindness and with the desire to help, and I appreciate that so much. I intend to rent it on a month to month basis and to require a deposit of a month's rent. I did that with the last tenant but it wasn't with a month's rent, rather it was a security deposit which didn't amount to much, I admit. But I felt so sorry for her situation. Thank you for your caring and concern. Love and Hugs
Hi there Mary checking in again. Boy that is quite a crew of hard workers there and to think they are working in all that heat too. I can't imagine you getting all this done but I know you will. You have the right people doing all this and when it's done you should have a big party and invite them all back to celebrate the finish. On a cooler day too! You are getting closer each day that goes by and will be happy with the results.

Hi there Gert. I have your lovely hand painted cards on a bulletin board in my kitchen so I can see them every day. Hope all is well with you.
Really looking nice!
I don't know how they can work in that heat!
You and me both!
