This show just gets better for real. It builds momentum for sure. I enjoy that they show him training and it's well paced, they give it just the right amount of time and don't drag it out unnecessarily.

They even made a holiday called “White Day” (March14th) so people who received gifts on Valentine’s Day can give return gifts to those who gave them. Couples give return gifts on their wedding day, too. I had a coworker once who had a headache. I offered to give her a painkiller and she accepted. The next day, I got a box of cookies from her. Tanjiro insisting on paying is something like that. 😂

I think the main strength of Demon Slayer is in its characters. I don’t think there’s a single character in the show that can’t be understood and sympathized with - except for the truly vile villains, who are so much fun to hate. The actual meat and potatoes of the plot is nothing groundbreaking (although IMO there are truly excellent moments that rival some of the best anime twists in impact), but the fantastic character work just truly elevates the entire work.
I agree with you! The writing could be better with the female characters and many times the show pulls stuff out of nowhere (like in explanations of how a character survived something) but it does have good qualities, like good characters, amazing action and animation.
The first episode intro was at the end some anime’s do that, they place the intro at the end of the anime and then for the rest of the season they place it at the beginning.
Tanjiro is a good person and he is always willing to help, you can see it in episode 1. So thinking about killing them made him feel bad but he needs to understand that the demons aren't all like Nezuko. I can say that I love the intro in this season, I only skip it when I watched episodes back to back because I wanted the next ASAP hehe. In Spanish we also have different ways for smell 😅😂
It took me a long time to understand what spoilers are as I read reviews, watched trailers, and tried to get all the information I could before I read a novel or watched a movie, so the concept of spoilers was foreign to me. I also read mystery novels from the first few chapters to find the mystery, skip to the last chapter, read them backward until I find the answer, and then go back and continue from the beginning where I left off. So I love stories that give me the information that way with the answer in chapter one and now let's see how we got there. Yes, I was that kid who would unwrap all my Christmas presents to see what I got and rewrap them. What I still can't understand are the degrees of spoilers different people have from major pieces of information which I can understand to don't tell me you like the next episode.
I watch intros when I finish the season, I like to be surprised and to not know beforehand who are the villains, the friends, the weapons/special moves, etc lol but Ive noticed that to a lot of people that doesnt count as spoil (?!), I would recommend to skip the intro in shonen style animes and watch them when its "safe"
Yeah, for most animes I think it’s the equivalent of a movie poster or trailer. Here are the actors, the high points, the promo reels. It sets the tone and hints at what’s to come.
I really wish you guys skipped the intro until the end of the season, it really adds an element of surprise when you don’t see the characters coming, now you’ll be anticipating them the whole time

Of course tanjiro would be "too kind" to his sister. He just lost his entire family and is carrying a live bomb on his back. Imagine you're in his shoes. Trying his best to save his one last family member. Then people called him being "too kind"
yeah actually telling nezuko just ignore your hunger then save your brother, isn't that pretty weird? because she's now a demon it's very natural for her to be like that when she sees blood especially since she recently changed... well with the fact that nezuko doesn't eat humans a little grateful it's different from other demon
Good that you listen in japanese the dub Version aint quite as good the voice actors was very good choosen in fights it is alot better. In Anime its often after the credits that there is a short skit about the Episode its pretty good in DS its lighten up the Mood.
How is an opening a spoiler? You're not going into these recognizing everyone shown or having the plot told to you. What, are trailers spoilers now too?
Some openings surely can spoil certain things to come in a series (Attack on Titan for example), and in the case of Demon Slayer I guess the opening sort of "spoils" or gives away some of the characters we are going to see later on. But it's not like it ruins the experience for us or anything. And yes, trailers definitely show too much a lot of the time 😂

Fr, some shounen anime can REEEEEALLY drag out their training arcs. DS usually only does a few EPS max and moves on
