- We really get acquainted with Rengoku as he investigates the mysterious circumstances surrounding the Mugen Train, and saves several people from a fast and despicable demon. It's hard not to love the guy already! Hope nothing happens to him...

That rengoku saying "Tasty" after each bite comes from the Japanese soldiers of that time. They didn't know if they would eat again, so they thanked for each bite.

One of the best Arcs in Demon slayer and it echoes through out the whole story.
i'm really really glad both of you are enjoying the series so much and that you liked Rengoku (i don't know why people thought you weren't enjoying the series though xd). and yeah, the animation - specially for the opening scene- was absolutely fantastic. it looked a lot like a Ghibli movie with that extremely tasty-looking food omg.

Your patron told you correctly, this episode is not part of the movie. You can go straight into the movie or you can continue to watch it by episode. Not much of a difference, except for maybe the Taisho Era Secrets at the end of the episodes.
In Demon Slayer, they separate "Fire" and "Flame" for avoidance of homophone confusion. Flame is "HONOO/ HOMURA", and Fire is "HI". Semantically Flame and Fire are basically almost the same in Japan. I bet no one could distinguish which is fire and which is flame actually.
However, Fire-Breathing is sounds like "HI NO KOKYU", and it would simultaneously sound "another meaning" in Japanese. That's the point! And soon you will see what another meaning is.😉

I’d never worry about the into, they do show stuff u haven’t seen but they don’t spoil anything important.. they are too good to skip so
On musical aspect, it's interesting to notice each of main characters theme songs. Rengokus could be heard in background, and will be heard later on too. Same for all other main characters as well that come along (it's usually in focus during fights)
I watched the movie instead of the episodes so this is pretty much all new to me.
I was hopping to see the movie and no the "2nd season start" but it's still great
Oh, by the way. This arc is adapted from the movie, however, unlike 99% of anime movies based off of a show, this arc is from the Manga. Volumes 7 & 8, chapters 54-69 specifically. About Rengoku, there's a quote from Professor Heimerdinger from Arcane that describes him perfectly but I'll post that in another video when appropriate.
As the mugen train arc is also a movie, it is to he considered as season 1.5

The episodes don't change much from the movie so it is fine either way. Only episode 1 doesn't appear on the movie so now you can enjoy the whole thing ❤

The episodes ones are the movie + extra content, so it is perfectly fine (might even be more preferable to some)

This reaction video is how i found out I watched the wrong version of the film, which cut out this entire ep. Mine starts directly from Tanjiro and co. finding Rengoku on the train.

I feel like even if you are not watching the movie, this episode could've been watched after the rest because this whole episode looked like it was designed in a way that it is targeted to people who already know everything that happened in this arc
I get that, but we don’t think it spoiled anything for us at least. Watching it first worked out pretty well, because we feel like the ending hit that much harder, since we really got attached to Rengoku from the start.
@@LMFIP and I didn't say it spoiled any plot in my comment either. I said it look like it feels designed to be watched afterwards because how it already has an emotional element in because of how it is directed visually and musicwise which doesn't necessarily have much to do anything with the plot
I hope you can watch the movie at some point since it's a little different than the episodes. Even if just for yourselves.

It's the same....and they already explained a LOT why...The 7 episodes or the movie is the same thing. And again Sonny in this video told once more that they finished season 2 already.They have a baby and a live outside of the internet my friend so we have to wait and have patience.

You should've done the movie, it's better paced than the episodic season
they've said it several times before and they say it again in this same video, but they couldn't do the movie i think because they can't sit through that lenght of time (+ then have a discussion). the episodes are shorter and they've more freedom to stop, be interrupted or whatever (especially if their baby needs them).
however, i come from the future and i can tell they enjoyed this arc a lot and i think that it was seriously not a big difference in their reactions compared to the reactions of people watching the movie (and i have watched _a ton_ of those).

No idea, we are watching on Netflix. Don't know why they would be different from other subs.
The netlfix subs are unfortunately not very good. Crunchyroll certainly does it way better in that regard@@KatSonny
