    Hi - I really enjoyed your video, and was very glad that I stayed and watched the whole thing. Browns, yellows and oranges are my least favorite colors, so when you made the first page, I almost stopped watching. Boy, am I glad I didn't!! Blue is my favorite color, and the bright yellow and white on the embellishments just really "popped" - and were adorable! I've been saving my scraps - including "strips" for a long time, and now I definitely know what to do with them. Thanks very much for sharing!!

      One issue would be the issue of the blade "catching" between edges of the paper strips.

    • @LollyPalooza
      @LollyPalooza  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Toni Romero Depends on the glue stick you use. The UHU is supposed to be the most permanent, but it's harder to find. I've had good luck with the Avery stick. I have cards that I made 20 years ago, and they are still well assembled.

      Hi, Lisa! I used a regular heart punch, about 2.5" wide by Marvy Uchida. I haven't seen it anywhere for years, but there are some others about the same size. I then glued it onto a heart-shaped doily, so it just looks like it was a laced heart punch.

    Love this! Thanks for sharing. Thinking out loud. If done with smaller strips, the designs could be scaled down and made into paper clips. :-)

    Another great idea! Is the white sheet of paper card stock?

      Yes, it is. I needed that strong base to glue the papers onto it.

    Hello again - I commented the other day. Going through my stash, and so far, I have more strips of card stock than I do patterned paper. Any tips for them?

      +Toni Romero You can still use them for the same purpose. If they are close to the same thickness, they will lie next to each other well on the paper. I just wouldn't be too keen on mixing different weights of paper together, though that still might be a cool look.

    what kind of die machine are you using? Thinking of getting one or would just using my silhouette machine work good too on this paper strip video?

      If you are talking about a Silhouette Cameo, the digital cutting machine? The blade might catch on in between the layers as it's cutting. For Die cutting, I have a Sizzix Big Shot

      what size machine do you have and what are some basic dies that you can use on any layout? I have all boys too.
