    my questions:

      It is safe to drink from. We recommend sealing any decal like this. Waterslide, Viny, print then cut, etc. For this one I would recommend using Dishwasher Safe Mod Podge :) Then it will be dishwasher safe after it cures!

I could probably print three or four on one sheet, but I need a good program that will allow me to pick the font, make the logo and and the photo to it. Can you recommend a program? I just ordered a cricut, but I don’t have it yet and I am going to be learning all about it when I get it. But say you want to do a fancy font name about a deer head, and you want the font to have a curve to it above the deer head, what program do you suggest and in said program can you set it do do three or four per sheet. the "stars" are the little white rollers that you see on the bar of your Cricut. They are easily slid to the side so that they do not smear the ink or make marks on your decal.

    I have a few questions if anyone would have time to answer. I placed three coats of Krylon triple thick clear glaze, 30 min apart, on the water slide, placed it on a ceramic mug and it looks great. What do I do to keep it that way? I want to place it in the oven as another commenter said she does. Do I spray it again before I bake it? Just over the water slide or the entire cup? If I should spray it, how long should I wait until baking it? I know that’s a lot of questions but newbie here!

    • @MakersGonnaLearn
      @MakersGonnaLearn  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello!!! Great question!! This is most likely because you have so many coats of your sealer on there that the machine is having a hard time reading the registration marks. There are several things you can try to combat this. 1) try turning the lights off in your craft room. Glare from other lights makes it harder for the Cricut to read the registration marks. 2) Use satin or matte finish sealer next time, as they cause less glare than glossy and usually you'll have more success with the machine being able to read the registration marks. 3) You can use a gentle tape like masking, painters, or washi tape to cover the registration marks before you seal them and then remove the tape before cutting, so the Cricut will have ease reading the registration marks. Hope this helps!!

    Hi!!
    I’m trying to water slide on a wine glass but I cannot cut in between the photo and I’m left with a circle or a square around the actually picture..
    Do I need a different blade like a deep blade or is it another way to avoid the circle around the pic?

    • @MakersGonnaLearn
      @MakersGonnaLearn  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The circle comes from the file in Design Space and how you imported it, it has nothing to do with your blade. When importing a PNG, you'll go through a process in which you can clean up the image. During that stage, you can select and erase the parts you don't want, so you can eliminate that boarder :)

    • @MakersGonnaLearn

      Any Inkjet paper will work great :) The spray is very important! Make sure to add several (5-7) coats of the spray polyurethane, and the best kind to use is clear satin, not clear gloss! The gloss can confuse your Cricut and sometimes it wont scan and register the registration marks correctly. Good Luck!

    Putting on card stock setting for some reason doesn’t work for my cricut it would never read the lines. I have to change my settings to custom to printable vinyl so it doesn’t cut through the backing like yours did. I wish I could get it right. I have wasted many many waterslide papers

    • @MakersGonnaLearn
      @MakersGonnaLearn  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello! So the material you choose will have no effect on the Cricut being able to read the registration marks... Make sure to use matte spray and not glossy, or apply some washi tape to the registration marks before sealing, then removing the tape before cutting. This is because the sealer can sometimes be too shiny on the paper then the machine has a hard time reading the lines. Good Luck! Also, try the "kraft board" setting :)

      You have to add the Waterslide setting manually to your machine. I encountered this same issue before on another project when my registration marks for one image were to close to the marks for another image on the vinyl I was using. What I did was put a piece of paper over the image I didn't want it to cut so that the cricut was only reading the marks for the image I was working on.
