    Canada offers great opportunities to those who are open to learning new things. It’s been a fascinating experience. I’m grateful to call Canada my home away from home. 😊
    Shout out from Montreal. 🇨🇦🍀
    Blessings everyone!

    Hi po. Employed po ako before through manpower pero ang naalala ko po at that time was that we were paid less than if we were directly employed by the company (i.e. manpower was my employer). I am not 100% certain po, but from my recollection it was because the agency was getting a cut from our pay.

    • @alf5155
      @alf5155 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That’s true. Employment agencies makes money out of the people they placed. Probably temp workers only get 2/3 of what the company is charged.

    The average home price in Toronto or Vancouver is in excess of $1M. Assuming it's $1M you will need minimum $200K DP and a household income in excess of $220K to qualify for a mortgage assuming you don't have other significant debt. Nearly impossible for a newcomer trying to establish themselves especially if you have partner and children with you. Better bet is to move to less expensive cities. Need to balance cost of living with income generating opportunities.

      @inanutshellvlog  ปีที่แล้ว

      They're coming from HK which is more expensive property wise than Vancouver. They got their mortgage from a HK bank for their Townhouse in Port Moody so they had decent earnings in HK. That Townhouse in PM is probably $1m which is just a mid-priced 600 sq ft flat in HK. People coming from HK usually pay cash for condos and houses in Vancouver, that's how affordable properties are to them as their currency is pegged to USD and taxes are very low.

      That's for Public schools. My kids went to ESF and American International School in HK. They are both Western style schooling with ESF having IB program. Their schooling was well rounded and classmates were multi-racial.

    Same of US. The quality

    Interview is ok but your guest isn’t answering questions to the point, please, this interview isn’t about oceans, beaches, Hongkong is this and that. I think Miss Ina is just about ready to wrap things up but three quarters of the real issue of the interview still wasn’t clear or revealed. We’d still love to know what kind of job in particular you’ve actually landed. All we know from you is that you’re now on some field of media or television, however when the interviewer asked if you’re happy at this job, again you turned your answer back into beaches, social life and so forth.. So sorry but we want to move on to a clear, down to earth and more comprehensible transition of life ventures in Canada which I’m sure have ended well for most of our folks up there! 🇨🇦
