  • Officials confirm they have located the remains of 45-year-old Kelly Paduchowski, who was reported missing Sunday in the Flagstaff area. Her husband, Daniel Paduchowski, was arrested for second-degree murder.

If I was the judge,the only deal he would get is this , he'd get a regular sentence, but I'd add a year for every day he won't talk

    What. In. Thee. Hell. SIXTEEN YEARS?!?! That's an insult to the victim and the prosecutor who made this deal should be fired. Her life was worth a lot more than 16 years. If you murder someone, at a minimum, you spend the rest of your life in prison, period. Prosecutors and judges who offer and sentence criminals to ridiculous plea deals need to be fired. Take it to trial if they don't want to admit their guilt. At least then they can be sentenced to life w/o parole. This is a disgrace.

    We had a woman jogging run over by drunk in a pickup. He went by, ran her over, turned around, looked her over and drove off. While he was eventually arrested, it has been very quiet and I understand he was released after the booking. This is in Maricopa county. The man’s dad works at Phoenix PD. Why is this murder being treated so different? Shouldn’t they both be behind bars?

      This happens all the time I watch the 48 hours where the guy got 26 years for murder, and they let them out in the year only to murder again and he committed felonies within three months of being let out our justice system is screwed up corporal punishment is the way to go

    Why the heck didn't the neighbors who saw him on top of her in the backyard say something at the time. Maybe she could have been saved. Better to be embarrassed at being a nosey neighbor and wrong than letting someone be murdered

      Why place that blame burden on the neighbors?! You don’t know what the neighbors were seeing or hearing on the daily. This behavior could’ve been “normal” and they overlooked it because she never left. There is always more to a story. I’m more saddened that she never left him if that was the case.

      D.A.s normaly consult with the victim's relatives before accepting a plea. In this case I suspect her family wanted to get her remains so they could have closure. I think the D.A. offered the plea deal in exchange for the info.

    If you’re thinking about leaving a guy , whether it’s a husband or a boyfriend, don’t confront them. Just pack what you can and get out and go no contact if possible. I don’t know if this is the situation but if you confront certain people, especially a covert narcissist and again I don’t know if he was one, but people can be extremely dangerous and snap. Don’t threaten them. Don’t back them into a corner. Just find a time when they’re gone and leave. Be safe.

    This please deal just gave a message to abusive, murderer men that if you just confess and point out where you dumped your victim's body, you will only serve 16 years, then be released to live the rest of your life in freedom.     Plea deals are ridiculous - but they make it easier on the courts and court staff - even the bailiffs hate trials because it cuts into their day. I was a bailiff and we loved to hear that a plea deal was made so there would be no trial. This guy only gets 16 years for murdering another human being, just to avoid a trial - sickening.

    There was a San Diego woman that went missing in the Williams/Flagstaff area last year and her car found on a dirt road. It was never reported whether she was found dead or alive,I wonder if they are somehow related .
