    Well conceived, well planned and well executed.
    Brilliantly waffle-free.

    Very precise and very clear. Thank you. Now, anyone watching me remove the old clutch and fit a new one will think I am an expert. Little do they know :)

    Starter cord works great to block the piston. Thanks for a great video.

    Thanks! I wore completely through my sprocket this weekend, but I have a parts saw handy, so your video showed me how to save my old Stihl 032. Parts are getting harder to find, so I'm thinking I should buy a couple of used clutch/sprocket assemblies just in case.

    Definitely recommend the cordage. I used the piece of plastic crap that came with the sprocket and it snapped in the chamber and was a right faff to get out

    Thanks great video. How do you make sure the rope is not getting jammed in the intake or exhaust ports? I’m so nervous to do it. Also, when you say piston at the top, does that mean the piston is nearest the spark plug, the point at which the mixture ignites.......that is the back end of the saw OR away from the spark plug and towards the front of the saw. Thanks Pal

    Great videos, very easy to follow looking forward to doing a service on my newly acquired MS200t. Just wondering what are the signs that of a worn clutch? Is it when the chain rotates as it idles? And can you recommend a supplier of parts OEM/ stihl? In the past bought cheap Chinese parts but not road tested yet. Cheers,Andy

      I guess it is when it chain does not move very freely if you try to push it by hand. I have this problem now. Will check the bearing.

    Anyone know how to do this to a 020 super? No nut on the clutch its flat like the back of the 200s clutch. Special tool?

      Stihl part number for Wrench (for clutch): 1110 893 1310. Order from Stihl dealer. (Mine is 020 AVP from 1977.)

    why not just use an impact gun to loosen the nut?

    cannot loosen the nut to remove the clutch

    • @inciderinfo
      @inciderinfo  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Don't forget it's a reverse thread, so you have to turn the nut clockwise to undo it. Sorry to state the obvious...

      know about the threads have soaked the threads for 2 days still cannot get it llose

    This is so ridiculous. “If there were some way….?????” If you plan on working on your saw(s), you need to order a piston stop, knocket, and a flywheel puller. Each item costs around $10-$15 and is SPECIFICALLY designed This isn’t going to something you do once so why not just use a rope? BECAUSE THE ACTUAL TOOL COSTS $10.

      Knocker. Forgot to proofread. Of course I meant knocket. Thanks google.
